We use to be in a similar situation, it really feels great to unburden yourself and live with less. Even just getting rid of one thing a day, eventually you'll get down to the essentials and you'll feel a lot happier.

@Elysia, Its been a great 6 months as my diet gets better and better. So glad I saw your video post and that I'm back were I belong. It's a wonderful new world for vegans than it was in the early 90's! Though it seems at times that things r never going to change until we self-destruct the planet, things r changing. We need to step up the pace though and with the current political problems I'm very worried about the environmental issues that could get worse not better.

Fellow minimalist here! Can relate to so much of what you said. After having kids, I was super unhappy with my body and looked to things to make myself feel better. once I started eating right and exercising, I suddenly had no need to shop. I can relate to that freedom and liberation you feel after becoming a minimalism. We need to do a collaboration!

I know that this is personal, but I'm wondering what are doing for life. You live still in your family house, so rent is not a problem, but you have to earn money somehow for food, clothes etc. And next thing - if you you're so free why you are still in Canada, why you're not at a warmer climate, I know you miss it. Don't take this as a bad comment or hate, I just want to point out that it's easy to say "stop buying things, stop working, do what you love", but it's harder to do this ;)

The reason I'm not traveling right now and doing what I want is because I have Debt to pay from my schooling. So for now i'm working a part time job to do that so that I can continue doing what I love. I was living on my own but I had a back injury and needed someone to take care of me so I have been paying rent still. But luckily this month was my last month so I can go on saving more. What i'm trying to bring through my videos is that you can start anywhere in life and push to do what you truly want, as for me i'm in the process :) I hope this answered your question :)
