Thanks! Let's see . . . I start analyzing by rephrasing the line in my own words. For Shakespeare, I sort out the word order, too. If you "translate" the poem into your own words, you'll catch the main meanings. Then you can reread for the emotional message or the attitude of the language. You might need to look up some words as well. This will give you a good start!
