Ur absolutely 100%, right. The customer doesn't even care how u truck looks like inside. The only thing they see is how there cars look like when ur done. !!!

Cardo! Love the DIY spirit and clear explanations. I came here from PTO’s channel. I was curious if you have a preferred canopy/tent for mobile detailing. Want something stable but easy to set up and take down that fits taller vehicles. Any recommendations??

Thanks for the feedback and reaching out! 😊 As of now I do have one canopy system that fits a modern Cadillac Escalade 🚐 ⛺️You can find some example photos on my instagram with different cars 🚗 🛻 🚐 🤔 The one I use is this one from MASTERCANOPY on Amazon: amzn.to/3F16vNb I actually bought two of them and set them up sideways next to each other for a whopping 15x20 set up 👀

No Tornador and compressor... Interesting, I like it. Saves a lot of money and I wonder how well an EF Delta Pro would power a the right compressor.

I actually have one now and it works well with my Kobalt 26G. 👍 Tho it can only operate when nothing else is also powered on 🤔

@@CardosCarDose I've noticed most guys run smaller compressors, I was going by the spec for the Tornador which led me to the California Air Tools 10020C but that thing has serious power demands. It's nice to find out that isn't needed. Thanks for your reply, videos and insight!

Hey man awesome video, how many cars can you do before the Evo pro needs a recharge?
@CardosCarDose Жыл бұрын
I made a whole video on that 😎🤙 Answers all of your questions 💬 Honestly there really is no answer as every car is different and depends heavily on what you are trying to achieve 🤔

100% agree with you. A good detail setup does not necessarily makes you a good detailer. What matters is the end results.

Be organized, yes. Spend $20K on set up? It would be cool, yes. Do you need it? No. What matters are the end results!

As long as it works who cares if you spend 20$ on you build or 3k on your build. They both will do the same get the job done

E X A C T L Y ☝️ 😎 Both lead to the same destination, yeah its a hassle having to haul some things out one by one, but its functional 🤔 🚐

The 6k setups does get high paying clients and allow you to shampoo and polish mobile because you’re 30% more efficient. a 5k setup pays for itself 100%. If one person driving by notices your 5k setup that might spend 3k alone. It happened to me

A built set up COULD bring more because it is an aesthetic, but not a guarantee for everyone. Recently I added more decals to the van of my services such as polishing and coatings, and I have noticed a tick in leads, not because they saw the inside. The set up is not a necessity 😎 Cool to have, but not the reason why people hire one over the other.
@blaketheman96 Жыл бұрын
What about the hours a year saved x $20+ an hour plus that one client that spends thousands after the non obvious inside investment was an ice breaker to valuable services. 100x 20 = $2000.
@blaketheman96 Жыл бұрын
It does pay for itself in time saved and lead some to learn about services that can help them which leads to them choosing you over others as they learned about it from you after noticing you actually saw the value in an interesting time saving system
@CardosCarDose Жыл бұрын
@blaketheman96 Oh Im the wrong person to respond to that as I have no plans in doing this Full Time and slowly transitioning to shop location. 🤔 Yeah I COULD get the tools and reels to perform the job faster, but honestly it is what it is 🤷♂️ And financially it would be suicidal for me 😂 Even with my clearly not "professionally" made set up I still get great results and finish in a timely and profitable manner 😌 So no need to invest any more. Well, maybe a vac reel would help 💺 I guess if you are doing this service full time, then YES 👍 Investing in a professional set up with Reels, shelving, and other accessories will definitely help to do the job faster, but not as a selling point for the customer 🤔 We are hired for results and customer service, not because the van looks different

Wealthy people more than likely than others to realize that a efficient setup does not just look great for nothing and allows any operator to be more likely to produce better results and have better customer service more consistently. Of course a “fancy” setup would not make wealthy people book with you.

The client doesn’t care if you have a 10k setup they just want you to clean the car

Having a setup isn't about impressing the client; it's about making the job easier for the detailer.
