I love your videos. Thanks for making this one. Sometimes, when things are a little too messy, I just stand there and the enormity of the task galvanizes me to the spot! It's as if the size of the job overwhelms me and I don't know where to start. You do not seem to have this problem. You see a job and just get on with it. I'm working on that and now when I go into a room to clean I just say to myself, "Valerie would just pick up something and not stop until the job is done...so imitate Valerie and get on with it!" And you know what, it's working!! Thanks for the example and inspiration!!

You see lucky to have your husband to help you. My husband can't help. He hasn't been able to help send Dec of last year. He had had to have both Achilles tendons been operated on. We're waiting on the foot Dr to call her going to have to operate on the left ne again. It just won't heal. It smells & we have been going to see the foot Dr office since Dec. Please say a prayer for him so he can get up & walk & his left foot can heal. He can get up & walk but that foot just isn't healing. He wants to put him to sleep so he doesn't hurt him. He try to do it on the office but it hurts. It will just be out patient thank goodness.

Those pups are precious. Max had a very busy morning, he seems pretty content with himself, lol! Thanks for the slaw and bean recipes. I used to work in a sandwich shop and we added seasoning salt to our chicken salad mix- it also needs a few hours to blend flavors. it’s another of those secret ingredients restaurants use, just thought I’d share a tip in return.

Today, I went through old photo albums and got rid of 88 photos, 1 photo album, 4 old magazines, a tote bag, old receipts. Since March, I've got rid of over 125 items in my house. Either I do it now OR my kids have to do it when I'm gone to glory.

Dont worry.....how could a person do housework and renovations at the same time. We understand! You are a great cleaner and it happens when the time is right. You can do no more. We are the same way. Hubby is building new kitchen drawers and when he is in there the kitchen doesnt get cleaned until he quits for the day. It's all good when the renovations are done and cleaning hapoens afterwards. It takes patience . You have a good heart and cozy home. It shows. Your honey does dishes very well! 😉

Team work makes the dream work!!!! So sweet how he helps you. My husband will cook dinner sometimes so I can have a break he says. He will also clean house. He works a 60 hour week doing concrete and still is willing to help me-very lucky woman I think…. But he is also a lucky man I work too and still cook dinner everyday so I guess a good match 😊😍. Honestly, you should purchase the mobile home from the landlord and rent it. Anyone would be blessed to live in a newly renovated home! You and your husband have done such a great job fixing it up and making the place livable. Anyone would jump in your lap to rent just for the view alone!

The pumpkin bread you made looked delicious. My son was in marching band for 4 years in school. He played the oboe. I enjoy your videos. They get me motivated and you and your hubby remind me of my hubby and myself. My husband can fix anything and is a contractor. Does the deck need work? Boy you still have nice weather there. Such a beautiful part of our country. This is the way it happens for my friend with 3 little kids. It gets clean and not even two days later it’s a huge mess. Laundry, dishes, toys, sticky surfaces, it sure is true, u can clean alo and it seems like u don’t. But u do.

I can hear in my head the voice of my mother and grandmother and aunts. The only way to get a floor clean is on your knees. I guess that's fine if you have a young thing with young knees around to help you out. I admire you for filming that bit, especially as (I think) you mentioned you have fibromyalgia. I'm in a flare up from overdoing and have been catching up on videos while I rest my body. You do great work.

Hi Val, Just found your channel. Best thing for depression is getting active, as you know. You are doing a great job. Organising the mobile home. The Candles, throws all add to the ambience. Positive wall signs are great incentives. And help with Motivation tasks. A few tips here Val. Colour code your cloths for different chores/rooms etc. Pick up a magnet white board for side of fridge. When you run out of things, just not them down. Saves having to do from memory. Use waterproof marker pen. Wipes easier. Stay Blessed from UK ♥️🇬🇧♥️

My hubby does dishes, helps cook, helps do laundry as well. He's a "former" Marine so he doesn't mind household chores. ( I know, once a Marine always a Marine) so don't get me for that 😂😂
