Watch this video to get familiar with hardware. I get people that start working for me on their first day to watch it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mH3JkpRrltmdaLM lots of stuff to learn. good luck.

You mentioned that they no longer make the socket wrench set that you recommended, what is the most comparable Westward (or other brand) set that is still available?
@bruneprune Жыл бұрын
it was called Metwrinch. i think there are old sets available online eBay. Here is the sockets i would recommend a lot of sets sell you a lot of sockets but most you never use. 5/16 (8mm),10mm ,7/16, 1/2 (13mm), 9/16(14mm),11/16(17mm),3/4(19mm), 15/16(24mm), 1-1/8, 1-5/16. the imperial number with the metric in brackets is what a standard socket and wrench could fit on both metric and imperial. this is what i use the most as a millwright in canada working on both imperial and metric equipment

What do you think about the Dewalt tough system versus the milwaukee packout? I'm considering one of these for millwright work as well since it would be easier than loading/unloading a jobsite box.

One thing about millwakee is all of the different attachments. By far better than other brands because of the different tools and attachments.

I made the mistake of picking dewalt power tools over Milwaukee, I’m grateful I didn’t make that mistake again with the Packout. It’s the best on the market for the price.
@DerekR1554 Жыл бұрын
@@ryankirsch2250 I ended up getting the packout, the only downside was the drawer set isn't water tight like the dewalt. I reckon I'll get over it though.

@@Iambetterthanyouanduknowit it feels pretty solid. I hope it holds up.. it's my first plastic toolbox And I got it on a sale so I paid the dewalt price so I couldn't really justify cheaping out on another system

@@DerekR1554 those drawer packouts are a game changer for sure. Makes it nice to not have to unclip every attachment to open the lid.
