People who have never lived in Tokyo don't understand just HOW NICE this apartment situation is. The location. The trees?! The kitchen. The widow in the kitchen! The bathtub. The toilet. The natural light in the bedroom. OMG Emma living the dream. I love to see it.

When your Lillies start to open you need to reach in and pluck off those little pollen things. It's funny when you say they "talk back to you" I picture angsty teenager appliances. Like the microwave switching to emo music and the o-furo lady dragging its virtual feet before changing the temperature "Why do I have to listen to you, you're not even my mom 😣". Meanwhile the kitchen wall just glows its kind and nurturing light knowing it's just a phase.

Hey we also moved up this year and we happen have the same kitchen gadgets! I actually bought the bamuda oven before just because of the musical sounds haha. If you're a bit handy (or know someone who is) you can make a bottomless wooden box to put on top of the stove for extra counter space, when you're prepping food. If the burners are sturdy enough, you could also simply buy a metal plate (like an oven tray) and place it on top. Also, the image at 16:10 is a work of art, and you should definitively get a large print of it for framing, then hand out signed copies to all of your friends.
