Sorry - my english is bad. I meant for storing data. And from the picture the computer was still on so it was most likely still intact I know the RAM stores the resources for executing processes. What I meant were the files and stories that Jess wrote. Those are stored in the HDD so it should be recoverable by taking it out and plugging it into another computer.

Your mom is exhausting. I usually hate when kids ask one parent then go to the other to get their yes. Every kid tries it, but it's usually for something like candy before dinner, and then they get the talk. I make that exception for people in situations like yours. Your mother was a danger, so going to your dad to get out of the house to do normal kid stuff is not only ok, but encouraged. I REALLY hope you didn't stop writing after this. You have a gift for story telling and if you still like it, you should definitely do things you enjoy. You deserve happiness ❤

My mom left me with family members i barley new for days so she could chase down my father who was out smoking crack and messing with other women ( thats when i was 8 years old im 30 now oh and they are still married after 35 years). I was physically and emotionally abused by most if not all if my family and they pretend like nothing ever happend. I was labeled the weird kid in school and shunned by everyone even the teachers although they did call cps a few times to no result. I have never had a single person in my life that i could consider close in anyway been cheated on by every realtionship ive been in but theough all of that ive mainted a positive state of mind never done drugs never felt the need to hurt anyone or blame anyone for anything i just Keep going never piinted a finger and said this is your fault and ive always told myself "well shit could be a lot worse" you stop dwelling on the bad stuff when you want to not when some one tells you to.

And I thought my family taking away my new phone and leaving me completely disconnected from my friends and my boyfriend back then was the worst punishment... so sorry you had to go through that, bro...
@lezbehonest96778 ай бұрын
My mom did something similar. I’m the one of the only openly “gay” kids at school and one of my friends has very Christen parents. So I came to their birthday party at their house with one other (not super) close friend, and they not only outed themselves but also me and all my other friends. I only learned this after my mother screamed at me, and when I came to her house I had to put all my devices with her (accept my IPad for drawing). Joke is that she forgot to take my stuff and when she made me log out of the WiFi, I could give her my iPad for reference pictures. Little did she know that I copy pasted the WiFi password to my notes app and used it for months. (And I still do now)

Jesse I don’t know what to do. Ok for a little context I’m trans (FtM) and much rather be called Ray then Isis (my dead name) but I don’t know how to come out to my mom like I’ve been thinking of telling her like “Hey mom can you call me Ray and act like I’m a son so I can see how it feels?” and just like act like I’m experimenting with pronouns and stuff but I’m too scared, I’m too scared to even buy a binder because my mom always asks what I bought when I buy stuff on Amazon. She is bisexual and supports the community but it’s still scary especially since I’m not old enough to move out.
@dorkbait8 ай бұрын
have you come out to her on any level before? i would start small. maybe try just asking for her to use he/him pronouns or even they/them so you can see how it feels. don’t outright say you are ftm or mtf, just for your own safety. you can always withhold the rest of the truth until 18 if she reacts bad, but you can’t make their ears unhear it if you take the risk and it goes wrong. i do wish you luck. sucks that this is how things are.

But my mom being well my mom was mad that she didnt get it and so stole it from my jewelry box and destroyed it with a kitchen knife. I remember waking up going downstairs into the kitchen only to find my grandpas watch destroyed to the point of no return. Warning for abuse----- I really relate to your story's. Both of my parents were abusive and both have done most of the things you are describing. Police and CPS never did anything. I still live with my mother, which I honestly don't mind because she has honestly apologized for her actions and I understand that she was in a abusive relationship. On her meds, she is like a whole new person. Hell she has edibles to calm herself. My dad however has never apologized and kept secrets from me for years. He starved me, forced me to eat spoiled foods, expected me to preform 110% at sports because my music achievements were never enough (He only came to two things about of the billion that I did), and was constantly compared to the neighbors kids who I was forced to be friends with. I was medically abused too, I didn't have access to medication, doctors, therapy, etc. and it was not a money issue. When I moved back in with my mom (because he kicked me out because he couldn't handle my depression), she took me to the dentist (which my dad never took me too) and was informed my wisdom teeth were growing into my nerves, aka if I didn't come in sooner and had emergency surgery, my face would be paralyzed. There is a lot my mom did to me as well and I will never forgive her but I am glad for the relationship we have now. My dad since then has gone behind my back in court settings to call me stupid and he had also gotten married behind my back. I will forever morn my relationship with him because it suck crying and wanting your dad when I feels like your dad doesn't want you. The fact that I have a better relationship with the woman who has said to me multiple times that she wishes I was never born really says something about my dad. I hope this message that barley scratches the surface of my crazy family give you comfort as that while you were going through this, a little girl across the world was with you.

I think the true crime was you didn't beg your mom to come back and get you instead of leaving you to the cruel ravages of the bus. AND THEN you committed the cardinal sin of defiance instead of begging for mercy and forgiveness. PS I am self taught tech, the screen and keyboard can be replaced BUT as long you can get the hard drive out you can then place it in an external storage case and access the stored data like you would a thumb drive. Your mom sucks. I am curious about what growing up was like for her though. Still, she failed parenting. My mother also took to something of mine with a casual swing of the hammer - my face. Yeah, explaining that to the teachers at school the next day was interesting 😅
