It’s interesting because we have the same things in Haiti. The loogaroo ( usually is a person that changes into a creature, but it also is known to be a vampire) and the the spice peanut cake (but we call it tablet). These flavors that define Grenada is something that I think all Caribbean people can recognize.

When I moved to GA from NY I met a girl who said she was from Grenada. I said me too and asked her which part of the island and she looked at me like I was crazy. She then clarified that she was from Grenada, MS...not Grenada W.I. I was also shocked that the city is MS is pronounced the same as the country.
