My late Thai wife and I watched Lilly and her family consistently on KZbin. After my wife’s sudden passing from pancreatic cancer i went to Thailand to spread her ashes. I stopped in Koh Samui on the way. I visited Lilly’s restaurant. I saw Lilly’s mom, mentioned that my daughter and her husband lived in sandpoint, Idaho near their home. I was still grieving deeply and got very emotional. She hugged me and comforted me. It meant a lot to me.. it still does. i am grateful for her kindness at a very vulnerable moment. Thousands of us have invested our hearts in this family. Our nearly inconsolable grief for the loss of our spouse, parent or child is the price we pay the depth of our love. This is a tough one! 😢 We lost mum almost two years ago. I battled with the thought of what i could have done to prevent her death and then, why God didn't come through. It was only recently that i heard somewhere that everyone's passing is predestined and there's nothing humanly possible that we can do to extend that day. I finally got my acceptance amd realised that it was mum's time to leave this world. It's not easy though but God stands with us in the midst of our grief.
