I mention it at the start of every video but I know people like to skip foreword. I know it’s annoying but I can’t avoid it. Copyright is extremely strict nowadays Hope you enjoy anyways 😀

There was no point in pausing the video so much. I make direct edits of songs, including one of hers, without cuts or anything and all that happens is the revenue is claimed by UMG. I understand pausing it if you have something valid to say but pausing just to say "that's crazy" is a bit rediculous.

The meaning that I interpreted from this video/song was that she takes in all this pressure hiding it and lying about how painful it is for her, and she keeps taking it in until she can’t anymore. When she can’t take it anymore it eventually comes oozing out as if the black water represents her emotions.

I found it easier to understand the lyrics of the song with the closed captions on (just a tip). Between the high, breathy singing and the visuals being SO in your face, the songs meaning can be lost. Billie said the song was about toxic relationships, whether friends or romantic. My take on the video is that you can "swallow" your pain and feelings for awhile, but eventually it's going to overflow.
