In today's Thailand video I am taking my family to my favorite Thai island: Koh Chang. It's located far in the east of Thailand in the Trat province, near the border to Cambodia. I've been to Koh Chang twice before and absolutely love it. You will see in this and in the next video why. It's way less touristy compared to other famous islands in Thailand like Phuket or Koh Samui, but still amazingly beautiful. For my family, it's going to be their first time on a tropical island. I have had the same thought about Kens uncle. Perhaps he doesn't like the limelight/introvert or he may be self-conscious about speaking english. But yes seems like a nice man as is Ken. Koh Chang is my favorite island in Thailand as well. So much more relaxed and less "annoying" than places like Phuket, Samui and Phangan.

Wir waren im November 2022 für einen Monat in Thailand auf Koh Chang, Koh Mak und Koh Kood. Erstmal, das Hähnchen war wirklich sehr lecker ! Jeder, der sich den Wasserfall ansieht, sollte dort essen :) Koh Chang war am Ende unser Favorit. Wir waren im Alina Grande Hotel, die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich. Auf Koh Chang kann man viel unternehmen, aber dennoch seine Ruhe haben. Wir waren bei Koh Chang Shooting, jeden Tag mit Rollern unterwegs und haben die gesamte Insel erkundet. Wir sind auch mit dem Kayak nach Ko Ngam rüber und fanden es sehr schön dort. Wir haben auch eine private Tour bei einem Einheimischen gebucht und haben uns zu den Inseln Koh Wai (viel Schmutz, Müll der überall verbrannt wurde oder Müll der überall rumlag ,ansonsten könnte dieser Ort ein kleines Paradies sein) und Laoya Island (wunderschön) bringen lassen. Schönste Strände: White Sand Beach, aber der Teil bei denen die Bungalows direkt am Meer standen. Long Beach war traumhaft schön, aber voller Müll :( Ko Ngam wirklich schöner Strand. Koh Mak ist eher was für Leute die ihre Ruhe genießen wollen und allzu viel kann man auf der Insel nicht tun. Wir sind mit dem Kayak zur Insel Koh Kham, das Wasser mit dem Vulkangestein und der Puderzucker weiße Sand waren das schönste was ich bisher gesehen habe… ein kleines Mini Paradies. Mit dem Kayak kann man auch zu den zwei kleineren Inseln Ko Rayang nai und Ko rayang nok. Koh Kood, schöne Insel, eher für Leite die die Seele baumeln lassen wollen. Wenig Geschäfte und wenig treiben. Mit dem Roller kann man auch hier seinen Spaß haben… Schöne Wasserfälle und Strände. Unser Favorit: Ao Phrao Beach, etwas abgelegen, aber Traumhaft! Bang Bao auch schön, nur war da ständig der Geruch von den Motoren der Boote.

The sunset on the beach in the island or on the mountain top are the most beautiful views for me. The dazzling colors of the sky is always a wonderful sight I can't get enough. I think of the maggi sauce as a umami seasoning sauce used a lot in Asian recipes. The powder is like chicken stock powder to add extra flavour. I think I should visit Koh Chang soon. Lovely video thank you

Loved your vid. Subbed. One of the top most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand is the Erawan Waterfall, Kanchanaburi. Hopefully you are able to show this very impressively nature designed falls. Nothing Niagra like but real eye and soul candy just the same. I will go to that chicken place. Thanks.

Ken when you bring your mom into that kind of place just tell her take her time and dont rush...walk slow and steady otherwise she miss the beautify of nature.... if you in KL Malaysia maybe bring her to the Perdana Botanical Garden in KL city where its not too rough for her compared to the jungle.....
