Well today's title says it all! This is my mothers cheesecake recipe and I decided to add an entire bag of Nekohama to it to not only give it the green color, but also make it really taste like matcha. If you want the recipe leave a comment down below and I'll share it with you!
It's Sanne's birthday on Sunday so I'm off to make sure I make up for last year.

My Mom's Matcha Cheesecake Recipe
You will need:
1 1/2 cups ground walnuts
1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
6 tbsp melted butter
4 packages of cream cheese (8oz packages)
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
40g nekohama matcha
1/4 cup sour cream
1cup whipping cream
To make:
Combine, walnuts, crackers and melted butter in a bowl. Press into a 10" spring form pan. Set aside.
In a stand mixer, combine cream cheese, eggs, sugar, sour cream and whipping cream one at a time. Mix slow until smooth.
Add the matcha and continue to blend until fluffy.
Pour on-top of the crust and bake at 400 F for 1 hour or until a small crack forms in the middle.
Allow to cool completely before serving.
Enjoy!
