Enjoyed the video and the tips on how you keep your home clean. I too clean out my fridge before grocery day and give it a good wipe down. I like my fridge to look organized when I open the door which means I also keep all of the like things together and the labels facing the front. See you next week😊

I almost missed this video. Was finally able to get a dresser painted and set up in the bedroom. It occurred to me after church that I’d saved your video to watch later when I was done with the room but then the week became super busy. I loved the video. We all might be different but sometimes we need a little encouragement or ideas on how to do something different. I’ve mentioned to you before that my daughter passed away and I’m like a child with training wheels. I was moving along like you and suddenly my world ended. Your videos encourage me to get back up and start moving because whatever this life is now I still need to accomplish things even though I don’t want to. Hi Deena... Such a jam packed Monday. You are one busy woman! It was most generous and thougtful.of you to share your Monday routine but saddens me you felt obligated to do something outside your comfort zone. Life is too short to stress over a video to please a few( outside of pleasing your family). However thank you for sharing. I enjoy your videos, especially the decor based ones. Lol been maintaining a home as a homemaker for 45 years and we all must find what works for our jndividual.families and schedules. Life changes too. Hello there! Oh, please don’t be saddened by that. I need to be taken out of my comfort zone every once and a while. I’ll be honest with you, doing these videos is very out of my comfortable zone. Being in front of a camera, seeing myself on video and critiquing myself each week is so so far from a comfort but it has been a huge help to me. I have learned to get past some things and just move on. I need a push and really find it does help. Yes, I agree with you, we all must find what works for us. That is what I hope everyone understands when I do share these. I would hate for anyone to walk away disappointed in themselves because they didn’t do exactly what I do. That is not my intention and that is where the uncomfortableness for me comes from. I want to encourage never be a discouragement. Thank you for being so kind and understanding. Hi Deena, these types of videos are fun, it's good to see how others maintain their homes. Sometimes there can be a real gem of an idea from these videos that we can use in our own homes. Oh, homeschooling can be so overwhelming. Some days I would want to pull my hair out, and sometimes I wanted to pull theirs out. Lol. But, we made it through. Thank you, Jesus!!! Oh, I am using them, everyday. But, I noticed using them with these products is really helping to keep the dust at bay. I go through waves and like using my products too. @@gracefulliving_ Hi Deena, I first stopped eating out at fast food places, it was a challenge as I love In and out burger. then I stopped all meat and that easy then stopped all dairy and that was challenging because I love pizza, so now I have it once in a great while.Your welcome to call me if you wish for more details. I never really exercised, the weight just fell off. I currently do 17 mins of kundalini yoga a day, I use to do that plus 15 mins of chair exercises to music. So I am working at getting back my 15 mins a day of exercise. I did not stick to any certain meals, today I had, rice, watermelon and a smoothie for breakfast, for dinner I had a bowl of peas. I eat out a lot so I usually pick a vegan restaurant or one where I can eat the meal without too much temptation, you know the bread they give you with the salad. getting rid of all the bad food in your house is a good start, if you eat with your hubby try to see if he will do the journey with you, that will make it much easier. Because we all eat differently your journey will be different than mine. Take it slow, just think If i can grow it in my garden I can eat it. there area ton of cooking channels on you tube and lots of recipe books, I can share with you if you wish

Thank you so much. I appreciate your kindness. Yes, I’m fact both our boys are home right now. Our oldest moved back in after his landlord needed to move back into her house. He was in his last semester of his doctorate program so it just made sense. He will probably be moving away again soon so I am enjoying while I can. I love them home. Our daughter came home after college graduation and lived with us until she got married at 27. We loved that time as well. Its a good time to enjoy them!

@@SuzanneLight it really is. I thought Josiah being gone for four years and making his way home would be a huge adjustment but it hasn’t been at all. I love our relationships with him. We all have enjoyed him being home again. I’m glad you had that extra time with your precious daughter as well. It’s definitely a special time.

Good morning!!! Thank you. The drapes are actually material I found at hobby lobby. I use curtain rings to secure them on to the rod, fold the top down a couple time and iron, fluff them to puddle at the bottom and turn the sides in. No sew no fuss easy peasy. Hi Deena - I absolutely love this type of video. It is so fun to see someone else’s day and how they do things. Can you believe I have not been inside a grocery store in three years. We have a A grocery store chain here in Texas named H-E-B. I do online grocery shopping. I order one day and then pick them up the next day usually. They do an excellent job in selecting produce and meat and I’ve been very satisfied with this. Also I find it to save money because I’m not tempted by the other things I see in the store I get strictly what is on my list. I had to laugh when you were talking about being flexible or not being flexible. I can be flexible but it takes me a minute. If my daughters change a plan that we have they know just to wait a minute until I can think it through and then I’m always OK with the change but it takes me a minute. I’m so proud of you for sticking with your healthy diet. It sounds like it might be something like a Mediterranean diet that is mainly plant-based. I’m still on the very restrictive diet the doctor put me on but I am getting ready to change in about a month. I have lost 35 of the 40 pounds I put on with steroids. When I get back to where I was I will switch probably to the Mediterranean diet. I still have more weight to lose but it’s not as critical as it was before and I can eat more reasonably. I’m very tired of this restriction. My daily schedule has changed a lot of times over the years. Now it’s really different because I get up about 6:30 AM and start getting ready to go to the pool. I walk around in circles with a bunch of my friends for an hour till 8 o’clock. Then at 8 o’clock I did water aerobics for another hour. When I get home I eat breakfast and take my shower and then I’m usually very tired so I sit down or lay down and watch KZbin videos for about an hour before I get up for real. It’s very different and I don’t push myself at all anymore. I take everything slow and easy but still get things accomplished. Thank you again for this video. I’m sorry this type of video is hard on you but it’s really fun for us. Love in Christ.

Nice work Donna, I have went from 267 to 120, working on hitting 110 and see if I can maintain it, I don't say my diet is restrictive, I say I have changed my life style, that feels more positive for me. I use to take steriods as well, what an awful drug, currently talking no drugs any more, feels great. The Mediterranean diet doesn't work as they use too much oil, try using water instead, i wish you continued success

I have a hard time with these because I don’t ever want anyone to feel the pressure to change what they are currently doing. But, if I can give some inspiration or a little motivation then I guess it’s a good thing. Our grocery store does not offer a pickup service. And I go their because the prices are so reasonable compared to other stores. But, having pickup is so nice. I did it at Walmart for awhile. Flexible, I am just like you. I hate to be taken out of my scheduled mind. I feel so torn about it and have to fight my brain. Lol. I am so proud of you and your continued success. You have done such a remarkable job on your new journey to health. I’m so excited and proud of you. I am sure you diet change will be a welcomed relief. I know you’ve been so restrictive until now. I love that you have been able to find such success on your plant based plan. I do enjoy to and cannot wait to see more success, like you have. You are such an encouragement to me. Donna has done remarkably well with what her doctor has required of her. She has been so strong and faithful and I’m super proud of her. Thank you Deena for another beautiful video. I too had to teach myself that a "straightening up" day is not a "deep clean" day, I'm a slow learner but working on it. That recipe that you shared i'm going to try because I am by no means a cook but that recipe looks easy and delicious. You are most welcome, Debi. Oh, my goodness, I still have to tell myself every day. In fact yesterday I ended up cleaning out drawers in the middle of cleaning the bathroom and thought, “Deena! Stop!” But I didn’t listen. Lol. Oh, that recipe is so easy. I’m so surprised that that is one of the boys’ favorites to this day. If you want to make it creamy add two ounces of cream cheese it so so good that way, and again so simple. I know, Debi, I’m trying to listen to what I say. Some days is easier than others. Lol. What an awesome way to start off your week and all ready to go!!!!! I do something like that on Monday but I clean thru the week and weekend to!!!! Weekends are for errands grocery shopping eating out somewhere nice with my husband. You always inspire me to do me and take time for myself and be grateful!!!!! Well thank had the biopsy’s done once again I return I am praying 9-8 we will have results!!!!! And I will get on track with my thyroid!!!!
