Sticking to a budget has been a really important part of my life and it’s such a stress reliever!!! I love that you said it’s a form of Self Care!!! Since I started budgeting I’ve paid off 2 credit cards. I budget $100 a month for eating out. I usually go over budget 😂😂 but I’m trying to stay within budget! I started making budget videos to hold myself accountable! The budget community on KZbin is amazing!!! Great video Natalie!! 🥰🤩🥳

Omg it's already been a month since your last budgeting video??? I'm glad you keep doing it 🥺 Now that I've become more used to your budgeting system I find I can enjoy your video more! it's like I know what you're talking about in terms of expenses and way to cut some. I'm having a big life change next month so I'll be starting using your spreadsheet and feel like we're holding ourselves accountable 🥺💖 Thanks again for feeling comfortable enough to make this video! 🥰 Good luck for the next month! You can do it 💪

Before I starting budgeting, I spent $500 a month eating out and $200 on groceries. Now, I spend about $250 eating out (for two people) and $500 on groceries (for two people). I feel good knowing that we eat almost every meal from fresh, healthy foods we cooked and a casual dinner out once a week or one nicer dinner out every couple weeks.

Definitely see if you can find cheaper car insurance! My car isn’t even 2 years old yet and I only spend $83 a month with Geico! It’s a full insurance with collision/crash and everything you’d need. I was previously paying $140 with State Farm so it doesn’t hurt to look around!

I usually spend $200 for the restaurant a month. but I live in Japan, so food is usually cheaper and we have no tipping. so if I were in US, I probably spend more than $300. I really want to spend less…

I guess you can still tip if you want. I’m from the UK and though tipping isn’t necessarily customary here, I still tip 10-15%. Servers aren’t paid a great wage, so if the service is good, I think it’s important ☺️💕

LOL my restaurant budget is $0. I give myself $100 personal money a month and anything I want has to come out of that. Coffee, food, whatever. Of course I go over sometimes but mostly I'm good about it. So I guess $100 but not all of that goes to food technically.

You spend less than $100 on food a month?
@kristinhiser2222
@kristinhiser2222 2 жыл бұрын
@@gizanglyer5299 no, groceries is $200 a month. $100 is my personal spending money I can spend on whatever. I'm almost debt free and back at the beginning of my journey I was doing $100 a month on groceries. It was hard but just something I had to do at the time. Now I budget $200 and rarely spend all of that.
@leahmcdermott4189
@leahmcdermott4189 2 жыл бұрын
WOW! $100 is really impressive! Can I ask how on earth you achieve this?? I’m a cheapo and budget pretty well so I spend about $150 a month on groceries (I’m on a small weight loss journey and I don’t really eat much tbh). Like you, I give myself a personal spending allowance and that’s usually $200 (mostly consists of dining out tbh). I find $200 even a challenge to stick to, so how on earth do you do $100?! Seriously interested! Are you just mega frugal? 💕
