Do you know if you put $500 in a good 401k Roth account from age 30 to retirement with an average return rate you will make about 4.6 Million dollars with contributing $500 a month. Image what you can do with $1,700 a month just think about brotha. Look up Dave Ramsey for Wealth building tips. Sure put me at a place for my family’s future

That $1700 he pays brings hundreds of thousands of eyeballs, which he then resells for advertising space, which pays him far more than those returns ever will. Keep in mind, with a 401k roth account, you're penalized until a certain amount of years, and it's very unlikely someone in that position would not take out any amount of cash over 30 years - especially if the avg. Joe is dumping in $500/month, and their avg. income is $3,600/month after taxes. While Dave Ramsey is right about a lot of things, one must ultimately think on their own for best returns. P.S.: He's also not just 'paying' $1,700/month, but 'parking' money. That money is accessible, however he is likely to loose 30-40%. That being said, he is realistically then paying $950-1100/month. Best of all, he's probably writing 100% of it off as a tax return, as he's probably self employed :-)
