Might be my favorite MMJ track since way back in the Z era. Not that I haven't enjoyed all the musical journeys that Jim and the fellas have taken us on in between, just that this particular song brings back some of those old school Jacket feels. Love it.

There's more to life Than just black and white So many shades in between

I'm an old person that when I was younger in my twenties I used to think there's more to life than just this I was raised in a way that gave me freedom to choose whatever I wanted to do in life but I was a basic country person country girl and I always felt different and I wonder if the singer of this song has ever felt that way I wonder if he ever felt that he was different. When I found out there's more to life than just this they gave me hope and now I based My Hope on the scriptures. God's original purpose was for all of us to live forever then why are we dying and I used to say we go six feet under and that's it is that the purpose of living here they used to upset me when I was a kid cuz I was a deep thinker and now I know God has a purpose for us and that there is more to life than just this so I started looking at the scriptures and one scripture I'd like to share is in the Book of Psalms chapter 37 vs9 10 + 11 + 29.. and maybe not everybody believes there's a God but I do so I would encourage anybody to look for a better future here on the Earth and I love the scripture Revelation chapter 21 verse 3 and 4 that's all I wanted to say this is a very unique song I've always been surrounded by music growing up and I can't figure a world without music. My friends used to watch TV all day and that would drive me nuts and here I was in my twenties and thirties and forties and still listening to music while I'm doing my housework listening to music while I'm driving down the road you can't have a TV in your car and who would that would be insane

What a song. So glad my friend showed me this yesterday.
That guitar riff is sooo f*ing good. And the solo reminds me of Mahgeetah and One Big Holiday

Had to get my cat of 11 and a half years put down on the 19th last month...she was my baby her name was gracie may. I also called her greaseball because she was a little chunky. Unfortunately she had Cancer Leukemia or something that made her lose blood. We made a appointment 1 day before she got put down. The day of the app. I gave her to my mom to take a shower and within 10 minutes of me being gone. She lost all movement in her front arms and was giving a heart breaking meow until i grabbed her wrapped her in a towel and grabbed her pink blanket the day we got her. She barley made the trip to dr.pols office, she was staring and me and mom the hole ride there. I held he paw and gave her assurance that it was going to be okay and that she was loved dearly...she was always by my side. She was a Siamiees so she never liked being alone and always sleept between my legs or on my chest. She had the sweetest perrr and was my little heater at night and know fall and winter is coming my buddy is gone....Gracie May I love you so much and I know you are at peace now no longer hurting. She was burried with her favorite blue owl toy and her favorite pink blankie that i almost kept but in the end i let her have it becaue she loved it. We are gonna give her a big rock and red mulch with smaller rocks around her. Il think about you everyday and miss the times we had with a smile on my face and a piece of my heart gone you will never be forgotten ❤ R.I.P. Gracie May i love you so very much

How many epic rock and roll songs are in 6/8 time? At least one :) Edit: Wow! So there are a few songs out there. Here are a few: We Are the Champions - Queen Nothing Else Matters - Metallica House of the Rising Sun - The Animals Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’ - Journey Lonely Day - System of a Down Manic Depression - Jimi Hendrix

Same. It’s actually very disappointing to only like one song on a whole MMJ album.
@robertmcmahan76783 жыл бұрын
If you haven’t given the entire album a number of play throughs, I’d highly recommend doing so. While not initially liking this album as much as their previous albums myself, after spending dozens of listens on it, this album has grown on me immensely. It’s an extremely solid album.
@-AtomsPhere-3 жыл бұрын
@@robertmcmahan7678 I’m really missing Jim singing in falsetto this album. He sings the album SO LOW in every song except this one, and to me that just doesn’t sound like MMJ.
@robertmcmahan76783 жыл бұрын
@@-AtomsPhere- Completely understandable. Jim’s singing does sound more ‘Uniform Distortion’-esque on this one versus the previous albums.
@-AtomsPhere-3 жыл бұрын
Literally the only good new song. Why the heck doesn’t Jim use his beautiful falsetto anymore?! He sang the whole album in the same low tone and it was so weird to hear from one of the greatest living singers.
