I was also there in the massive crowd, also my introduction to MMJ. I'm 64 and a music freak, this is one of the best bands I have ever seen live, and I've seen a hell of a lot of bands. MMJ is simply an audio visual treat!

To all the people hating on people for hearing about this great band through American dad, My Morning Jacket to my knowledge arent that big over here in the UK, if it wasn't for American Dad i surely wouldn't have heard of them. Who cares about how people get to know about them, just that they are simply appreciating a great band and bottom line, they actually get to introduced to the music. Shut up and enjoy the music.

completely right.

The problem isn't that people discovered MMJ though American Dad, its that many people feel the need to announce it incessantly. Your point is correct...Who cares?!?! No one. So just keep it to yourself and enjoy the music.
