Ain't nothing wrong with living with parents or family at 28 male or female. Many other cultures do this until they find the love to marry. Any families stick together until one is ready to be on his or her own or married. As long as you're being productive and earning money, saving, taking care of personal responsibilities and taking xare of yourself while living with parents, there's nothing wrong with it. Lack of privacy can suck but lay down your boundaries.

@@justherenthere bc it's kind of sad idk why , dudes are supposed to be go getters and want to make money and be productive and as a girl I would never ever want to come back to a guys house who lived with his parents it's gross. Thankfully I'm married and he's older than me and I never ever had to exp that. As a female ig it's natural for them to still live with parents for awhile bc it's not as easy for a girl to go out into the world on their own and kill it it's dangerous and harder for them to find jobs or to hustle until they get there. It's a safety thing for most girls tbh. Most my guy friends I had in highschool graduated saved while in school and loved legit to other countries, got an apartment etc. Some even road trip and live wherever. The girls I knew had kids lived with their parents for a bit and moved to either a house or apartment near there parents

To be honest, I wish I would have stayed with my parents instead of moving out at 17. I moved out to live in student housing where I pay rent (obviously).. now that I’m 21, I just miss being around family everyday. Don’t get me wrong I like my roomate, just miss the family atmosphere. (Let me call my mom and see if she would take me back 😭)

Never understood why Americans rush their youth to be out of the house by 18 and such. In a Caribbean household, your parents would actually encourage you to stay as long, as you’re contributing (whether it be with chores or bills etc.). My mother didn’t move out until she started her own family. My uncle didn’t move out until he was married. 🤷‍♀️

I plan to live with my parents until I marry. My partner and I are long distance (every 2 weeks we see each other) and it doesn’t make sense to me to leave my parent’s house until we get married. Why? 1. I save money. 2. I get to spend more time with my parents AND help them out with expenses. In a couple years I’ll move out, have my own family, etc. I’m sure I’ll miss them
