One of the things that drives me nuts is when guys act so protective of their fishing spots. I run into people when I am streaming or recording who are like "you can't show people this spot." I'm like, "Maps exist, people will find this place no matter what." It's just so elitist and degenerate.

The only big KZbin fisherman that is still humble. Congrats on the new boat and enjoy it. Silver Bullet colors look great. I bought my second boat from Fun-n-Sun, back in 1982, was called US Sport Sales at the time, got a 1982 Skeeter Champ. I've had 4 Skeeters and 1 Nitro that I use today. Maybe another Skeeter, Ranger or Phoenix in the future.

Just something I watched on MLF this weekend, the rod strap on the locker cover made it so the lid can be opened without throwing a rod over the side. I thought it was a slick idea, the rods can move out of the way of the lid without going in the drink.

Thanks LFG! Two comments: First your Merc was made about an hour away from my home. Thank you for helping support many amazing people in Fond du Lac, WI. Second I agree the pandemic has brought new fishermen and women out in droves. I heard one report saying WI sold 100,000 additional fishing licenses in the first part of this year. With all that enthusiasm we may have to change bag limits so our grand kids can enjoy the sport 50 years from now. I have the same boat. Love the ride. I think it turns better at high speeds than the skeeter did and also you are going to like it in rough water. When you start to chin walk trim the motor down a little then raise the jack plate up a hair. Then start to trim up lightly again with the motor and drive it. You’ll work it out and get the hang of it... and yes the new 4 stroke pro xs is a V8
