I'm 75 ,I use to wear Hugo boss, got tons of compliments from ladies at work, fast forward 20 years ,the wife says it really smells ...well bad.😂 Body chemistry changes, BP meds,High Chol meds, affect the smell. She likes Bulgari so that's my go too now.

A person that dresses a certain way, acts a certain way, or even smells a certain way just to get the approval of others has some soul searching to do in my opinion.

Have you checked out the Eau de parfum Prisme Vert by Patek Maison? Its absolutely mental, I dropped the hammer on a bottle as its not often I find a quality fragrance with a great tangerine top note. Ever since I grabbed it its become my daily!

I have a mix of fragrances on both categories: Fragrances that get me compliments like crazy: Givenchy Gent Boisee and EDT intense, Dior Sauvage and Nautica Voyage. Frags I like to wear but bring me 0 compliments: Herrera For Men , Acqua di Gio, D&G The One.

Acqua Di Gio EDT and D&G The One are weak that's why you don't get compliments. The One in particular is liked a lot but it's weak, it doesn't project or last long, even in the EDP version.

I've got Eros EDP, Flame, Dylan Blue, Boss Absolu(check it out, banger!) and a couple of others and my most complimented ironically is the cheapest one...Turathi Blue a knock off of Bvlgari Tygar. It's better than the original and you can get it for like 30 EU lol I tried going for Armani SWY Int. and Abs. but...it's nauseating.

Yes they can get bad some faster than other. To keep time alive as long as possible keep them in a dark/cool place like a cabinet. Sunlight is the worst for them. If you take care of them usually 10-15 years is no problem. But there are also 50-70 year old Parfume out there. But this pretty mutch luck if the stay good for such a long time. Usually the higher the alcohol content the longer they stay in good conditions. Also full bottles should be good for a longer time.

My Invictus Parfum smells like doo doo. I got a decant and the decant smells like Invictus Legend but with that black soap note added, a bit boozy, much smoother and it projects like a mofo. While the legit one smells so cloying and not anything close to the decant. Anybody else got that issue?

I'm 72 and by far far the fragrance I received the largest amount of compliments from women was Joop.I have wore it now since about 1995 and we are now in 2024 as I post this. So around thirty years now. Plus I have wore others during that time as well but never with the high approval of women to the degree Joop has collected over the years.
