It’s so fragile, if I look at the model wrong it will break

Going well and looking good. It's a fantastic kit and it took me months and months to complete it. I made a few errors right from the start which led to the fuselage being slightly twisted. That meant that the tailplane was twisted and one side higher than the other. I had to start from scratch and Artesania very very kindly sent me all of the wooden frets for free, which saved the project. Doing the bracing was a nightmare and I didn't use the supplied black fishing line because I couldn't get it to tighten. Heating it with a match ember just melted the line, contrary to the help video. In the end I used polyester cotton and after three goes it all came together. My finished result is on Britmodeller and can be found by searching 1/16 Artesania Latina 1/16 Sopwith Camel.

It’s a great kit, I’ve been building the model for about 4 years. But in that time I’ve only spent a couple of months on the kit, hoping to finish the camel for the end of the year

Great build John you have the patience of a Saint. I don't think I have ever seen a more difficult build than this one. Take care mate 👍

It’s because it’s hollow rod, just nowhere to hold it safety
