Tried that Naked band really could not get on with it to fidly getting stuff in and out ended up with a cheap one on Amazon much better!Thanks for the video.

Your opinion of shoes is identical to mine. I sent the Alphafly 3 back. I bought 2 pairs of v1s when they went back on the Nike website a year or so ago. Not a fan of the Vaporfly 3. Also toying with the idea of the meta speed sky Paris or the adios pro 4! Decisions decisions. Looking strong for Valencia 💪💪

The battery life on the Coros watches is ridiculously good. I did a 50 miler at the weekend. Was out there for 12 hours with the watch in full GPS mode and it went from 100% to 68% in that time.

Hey Matt, another great video. I will be running my first marathon at Valencia too. As for shoe recommendation i found the Nike very slappy. And then i tried the Adidas. Wow what a difference. For my rotation i have X3 Pro 3. Takumi sen 8. Boston 12. SL2. Novablast gtx for trail. All the very best for the 1st. I may see you there.🤙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Alphafly 1 is still the goat, I agree. Although, I ran my most recent in the Sky Paris and it's very, very close. Another incredible shoe.

I fairly recently picked up a couple of pairs of new AF1 on eBay - c150. Worth a look. Random question as not covered in this video. I’d appreciate your advice on the accuracy of your lactate monitor and hr arm band vs lab testing of lactate, vo2 max, and training zones. I’m weighing up a one off 200 lab test vs getting the monitor you have to diy track progress, calculate training zones, etc.

I broke out a box fresh pair of AF v1 for Berlin after not being convinced by AF v3. Just not as much pop in them, PB'd by 3.5 mins with a 2h 41 low, also doing Valencia so hopefully dip under 2hr 40. I have the ASICS Metaspeed Edge Paris as well, I wanted the Sky but got a good deal on the Edge while they were in stock. Been really impressed with them, they are not the AF v1 though. Want to try the Sky though....

Alphafly 1s are the goat! Just got the adidas pro 3 and the upper is killing my feet after 2 runs today. Bit concerned tbh! The saucony pro 4s might be a safe option and very fast I had the 3s and used them for 2 marathons and they are super comfy. I could see you smashing it in those matt. But yes the sky paris seems to be the number 1 at the moment.

eBay / Depop / Vinted are probably your best bet for the OG Alphaflys. I'm heading to a Nike outlet next week, but last time I went they didn't have anything of interest. Looking good in the session! Do you think the track racing over the summer helped?

Now I heard from other people that are roadrunners I’m a trail runner so but they told me that the endorphin pro three think it was the three is the closest today the original Alpha fly or fly or whichever fly I don’t know if you’ve ever tried that but that’s one a few people. I know that try like the whatever the one have not liked it is it it’s aggressive and it’s fast but it don’t feel great but they called the Paris. Oh, there’s a couple things for you.

@@TheWelshRunner iv tried the deviate elite 2 and the fast r 2 both are great shoes the fast r have the newer foam which is a lot better than the elite 2 so if you want the deviate head towards the elite 3 👊🏻

Crazy that your jacket probably retails for a few hundred pounds but it has a cheap zipper. Constant problem. Send it back for repair or replacement.
