Alice in Chains is my favorite band so when I find albums I don't have on vinyl I try to pick them up. I got my unplugged for like $40 in 2022. I was a bit shocked when you said it was well over $200. I'll never sell my AiC collection, unless I have to, but that made me smile a little wider knowing that. Note: my local record store owner knows my love for the band and tries to price albums to move so that there isn't a store full of $100+ albums laying around collecting dust. I think he may have given me a deal knowing I might have been a person who would enjoy the album vs. a collector that would put it on the wall or something.

My Taylor Swift - Reputation on orange has a median price of $1714.49 and has sold for $2800. Had no idea it would be worth even a fraction of that when I grabbed it from FYE for $40

I have a copy of Chris Cornell Songbook Discogs Australia median $450 High $880 I bought it new when it was released for around $50

(2) Records I can think off the top of my head is my Club Pressing OG of Nirvana's Nevermind, still sealed, have another VG+ listening copy, but any of the Nirvana Nevermind original releases go for over $800 in most cases. Also have a Queen of the Damned Soundtrack on ghostly green vinyl that is somewhere between $350-$400 in value

Right now my most expensive is EDEN - ICYMI (DELUXE) with an average sale price of $289, my second is also EDEN with ITYTTMOM (clear) at $220

My top album is also my newest. AFI Black Sails in the Sunset 25th anniversary edition coming in at a cool $100

I can't help to believe the masters for Jar of Flies, SELF TITLED, and mtv unplugged were lost or destroyed in a fire. Reason being I remember hearing about a fire back sometime ago that destroyed a bunch of masters. Another reason i believe something weird about this as these AIC albums are so popular that they hadnt been reissued since 2010 and Self titled never reissued. The Jar of Flies reisaue sounded horrible and not even near as good as the 2010 reissue. That tells me they probably had the masters back then but no longer. Really makes me wander how the reissue will be for self titled next year.
