Mike's repurposed drawers was the coolest idea . Thanks Mike for the idea if you see this. Possibly an idea for a future video could be focused on vintage sound equipment setups. The kind of equipment in use at the time to listen to vinyl of the same time period.

Thanks for the suggestions. If I get enough submissions focused on vintage setups, I will definitely do that. Cheers!

Hi i am doing a small youtube documentry on album cover art, i was wondering if you or anyone in the comments would like to appear in it all you would need to do is do a talk to camera about your favorite album covers and talk a little about them. Maybe talk about going to record stores and looking at the covers and all about your personal experiences. i would give your channel a shout out if you have one too. kind regards Vital

Hi Frank, Get a kick out of the creative juices that flow to set up these music rooms. The themes run the gamut of R & R, one of the great thing of Rock is all variety it’s artists have put forth over the years, 1950s to present. I grew up when it was the early artists now would be crossovers with C & W and how both influenced the growth. My teens were the Sixties into the early Seventies when you could go to a record store and the top 40, or how many their wall would hold. I’d go to downtown D.C. and check out their wall and pick a couple or a few, depending on my financial resources, of the hits I liked that week/month. My Dad who bled “Polkas” and worked for the Gov’t got paid twice a month and he would ask my sister and I what record we’d like? He’d bring them home that day for us, and yes, we had quite a few polka albums and only one mono record player in a wood console. He encouraged us to like music, I played the trumpet 7th through 12th grade. Dumbest thing I ever did was to quit playing because he kept pushing and I rebelled! So much for teenage intelligence, I’ve regretted it more times than I can count. I plan to get a rack from SideTracked, got to count all my albums and 45s to figure which works best for me and my stereo rack system. Need to upgrade my turntable. But what I’d like if you possibly could is get the contact info from “Mike” in Ottawa, Ontario to get intouch with the person on Amazon (?) that made the album cover rug. Thanks and keep on spinnin’ those platters! Bill C.

Creative setups. Mike in Ottawa: Is that a Panasonic RD-2900 turntable? I've got the same turntable, bought it from one of the local audio guys in Gatineau in 2010. His living room was stacked with vintage hi-fi.

I thought I counted 8 cassette decks not seven as Frank mentioned.... I have about a dozen myself (I know I know, but I couldn't let them go in the garbage, could i? I had to rescue most of them) but they're not on display unlike yours... A few needs work, some just need new belts, some it's a bit more serious. Awesome setup you got there... I will get check your channel too. Cheers

Frank, even I have to give way to "the law of space." I use mostly CD 📀. I have 30 vinyl LPs. But I can only use my turntable where my laptop can go. Strangely enough though, I CAN use my TABLET to power my turntable.
