Since I started working from home I realized the great advantages of the fact of configuring my own work environment, and I think it's something that people don't speak too much. Just now, I find myself making bigger changes to my home office that I know will help me increase my productivity: I changed my old metal desk for a Protractor desk from Manhattan Home Design, I improved the lighting design and added some indoor plants. I need some additional accessories and I think your video has given me a few good ideas. Thank you so much for sharing it!

I remember at the beginning of the pandemic when people were hating WFH and couldn't wait to go back to the office. But it really just shows how adaptable humans are since now so many people will never go back to working in an office ever again. Also I sense a lot of opportunity for companies who offer WFH products and services that increase productivity.
@johndan422 жыл бұрын
Yeah for sure i work for the NHS and at the start of the pandemic my organisation decided to cut back on office space. by 40 percent. to help not only save money but to encourage more people to WFH more often, i find where some people can struggle to be productive at home and struggle to find a suitable place to work within the home. for most people its very refreshing and if your lucky to own a home which allows to lock yourself away in your own office then very peaceful.

You also inspire me to start editing video and making my own video! Thank you sir. Best regards, Ly Trung Hieu

Jennifer your plant was overwatered and had fungus gnats, usually due to the soil not drying out between watering, easiest remedy is to sprinkle ground cinnamon on the soil to deter them and water from the bottom. Lilly only needs watering when her leaves droop. She will survive there but does need some sunlight to kick off, get a second one and rotate them weekly.

First started working from home 11 years ago, did it for 4 years then changed job and went back to the office for about 3 years (with 2-3 days remote per week). Since COVID I've been predominantly remote again. I vastly prefer working from home and have a much better work life balance. I tend to go into the office once a month now for team days and that's about it.

More plants with a grow light.... easy on the eyes great for the plants and cleans the air.....ebooks don't take any space esp. in that fancy backpack or cluttering the desk...and some fancy desk are adjustable so you can stand instead of sitting all day.Ikea has one...... You can also put a treadmill instead of a chair so you can walk while you work or get a balance ball to sit on for posture strength. Also missing a water bottle, keep hydrated.

I got a Peace Lily at my mother memorial. They are supposedly meant to last 3 to 5 years. Im currently well over 14 with mine. Not getting the white flowers is not uncommon. There seems to be some incredibly fine point to get them. I sometimes get them in sometimes not. Don't worry about that. Make sure you prune any dead leaves. I would say the plant will tell you when it needs water, but it looks like you're doing a good job with that. Your presumption is correct. It's the pot. I have changed the pot in mine many times as it got bigger. It will only grow to the size of the pot, and then it's time for an upgrade. They can actually get quite big. So if you feel you utilized all the space of that pot, get you a new one and some fresh potting soil and you can watch your baby grow. :-) As an aside, they are so incredibly effective at killing chemicals in the air, NASA once did reaearch on it. A very healthy plant indeed. Indoor lighting or indirect outdoor lighting is good. Just don't let it get too cold. :)

I use no paper now days though, my laptop has a 17.3 inch display, with an i9 and 128GBs of RAM, I run a lot of virtual machines for testing. The single most important app that I have been using for my productivity for almost 4 years now is "Smarter Time". I have used and continue to use all kinds of productivity softwares and similar stuff, but none so religiously like smarter time. Overall, it's the second most imp. piece of software i use daily, after Google Assistant. Please use this and make a video on it if you love it cause I don't want this app to shut down as I haven't seen a lot of people using it and/or making videos on it. It really is a hidden gem in the universe of productivity (more like one of the infinity stones for productivity).
