Okay, Geena, pop off 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 If you felt that way about that book I highly DO NOT recommend The Southern Book club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires. The way the women were treated and sometimes portrayed left my blood boiling and the ending didn’t justify that for me. I was so pissed 😂

I finished the ballad of songbirds and snakes yesterday and I loved it so much literally was such an amazing story gave it like 4.75 so close to 5 stsrs but small parts kinda lowered it for me😂

You're so REAL I love it 🫶 Let me know when YOU have your own PODCAST, I'll listen 😘 I loved The Lunar Chronicles & Renegades by Marissa Meyers and feel like I should read HEARTLESS ♥ Like I've said about Atlas Six... I did enjoy the premise and the characters and their magic systems... And I guess I just wanted more from those magic systems... I will say that I had just watched The Magicians series on TV before reading Atlas Six and absolutely LOVED that series and maybe was expecting something more like that... But I did try to read the sequel because I was hoping I'd get more, but it was just BORING me so I had to DNF You mentioned you're Romanian... If you have any interest in Nadia Comaneci(I know she's a little before your time)... There's a book called The Little Communist Who Never Smiled that is based on her life story... I found it to be a pretty good read... I do love female gymnastics and Nadia herself and found the whole Romanian historical aspect quite interesting

That’s so valid the Atlas Six was alllll over the place it was kinda hard to follow so I get what you mean. The magic system was like kinda just thrown in there. The funny thing is is my Aunt was Nadia Comanici’s school teacher!! Hahahaha so that book has been on my radar for a while but you just reminded me of it, I’m sooo gonna pick it up soon!!
