I think rainbow pencils have an underground cult following 😍 Yes I did! We have an awesome place here called the Morgan Conservatory where they teach all kinds of paper arts, it's awesome!

The box from this video was purchased separately from Amazon, and the paints inside are a mix of Winsor and Newton and Daniel Smith squeezed from tubes. I love the box so if you already have tubes of your own you could try searching for the box. It's a unique size, it's small but with 39 wells (3 rows of 13 wells). I tried to find the listing and I found similar palettes by "Color Around" but not my specific one. 😕 Maybe if you do some googling it'll pop up. It's a Holbein dupe, if that helps, and it's about 8 inches wide.

Hi Brenda, that really depends on the beginner and their personality type. A good all-rounder is the Paul Rubens student grade sets of both pans and tubes, but my suggestions can vary widely depending on the recipient.
