I would like to say this. That you Beautiful Girl have given me back my will power to live ! I lost my son to murder as he tried to save another person and lost his also. This tore my whole life. So much so that i let myself go down completely !!! I lost part of my dentures due to wanting to not live again and die and go to Lee 🔯 when i came across your videos you inspired me so much so. That i got up and said she has such a beautiful smile a glow in her. I made a dentist appointment and now i am having my partial dentures made. I went got my hair done and cut. I believe the figurine you are calling Inuit or Alaskan is actually a Storyteller figurine from the American Southwest. It is a clay figure of a woman with an open mouth and a bunch of children that depicts the importance of traditional oral storytelling in the Pueblo culture. Stories are passed down orally from generation to generation, thus passing along history, culture and traditions. Notice that the woman has a married Hopi woman's hairstyle and has a vaguely Southwest style blanket wrapped around her. Hope this information doesn't ruin the appeal of the figurine for you. It's still a wonderful representation of Hopi/Pueblo culture. So glad you purchased the dog figurine! He'e so sweet!

Very cool items! Thanks to you I have been looking more closely at the art in thrift stores, which I usually passed right by. I found a great print for over my fireplace behind a stack of pictures! Yay! As far as being misjudged, I haven't spoken to my two oldest sisters for 20 years because of something they jumped to conclusions about and they refused to listen to the truth. They actually seemed quite pleased to believe the worst so I walked away and left them to their beliefs. Such a lesson to me.

I was misjudged by a man whom the Holy Spirit wanted me to meet with~ at church….he kept running out after service, even when the Lord told me to wait for him to come to me to talk. I am holding God accountable for what that whole thing was about. Anyway, while I wait upon the Lord to FIX His plan for my life…..I was inspired by you to make my apartment a sweet wonderful cosy sanctuary to wait in…..it hasn’t been a bowl of cherries, but I do like my surroundings, though it’s in the middle of nowhere and I am all alone. I have bought a bicycle, found two free ones I am fixing up…going for walks…fitness goals, changing diet , etc. but the loneliness ( and grieving losses) still weighs on me.

Almost 4 years now, I had to walk away from a job that I really loved because I had been misjudged. What made it so sad and hard was that the person that misjudged me had been a very dear, longtime friend! We had known each other over 35 years and along with 2 other dear friends, we spent at least once a month going to breakfast and then the thrift stores together...We would laugh, and shop and be out all day! Anyway, this friend was elected into a high paying, rather high powered job and she begged me to come work for her. Well, as time past, she became so wrapped up in her "position" she lost sight of the people who really cared about her! After I left, she never spoke to me or the other 2 friends again! It was heartbreaking!! Thank you for your honesty about your life and your precious willingness to share! Oh my goodness, there is nothing better than finding a REAL treasure at the Thrift store!! Oh yes, I have experienced men like the ball player, he made it all about himself, me, me me, how could you do that to me. Those kind of guys are a huge turn off to me, too insecure and narcissistic. A emotionally healthy man would have checked in with you to make sure you were ok and felt sympathy for you for losing someone that meant a lot to you! After all, you were not in a relationship with this guy and owed him nothing. He would have been blessed to go on a date with you. I believe his loss and your gain. Something different I do that too.I hope your feeling better after your friend and ex-husband died.I lost my police officer and Detective husband after 38 years married and I will never be the same.But I am growing in a different way.I will never remarry for I receive his full retirement of 6500.00 after taxes monthly and my 3000.00 retirement and 1500 social security monthly.I would lose his whole retirement if I married.I want to be single and I have my son with me a retired Marine and divorced.I will be 78 in January and healthy and happy.I will always miss my husband my real love.So marching on embracing life the way it is. When I knew I couldn't work anymore due to my kidney disease and other health issues, I thought I can't just sit at home doing nothing, I will go mad! So I decided to start a Knitting Group, I have been so lucky, to meet like minded women, kind, thoughtful and compassionate! As human beings we have lots of things going on in our lives, and they have become good friends, supportive to each other! Just as you were saying we need each other, friendship is a wonderful thing! Yes I have been misjudged by someone, I don't waste my precious time thinking or worrying about them! My life is precious, every day a gift, I don't worry about those things anymore! Great finds at the thrift store. I love mid-century art too. I have a sleeveless shift dress from the 80s with that same rose print. It was my Derby outfit one year and I kept it all this time. I don't know about this ball player. He just sounded so angry. Who would lie about a death! If he was dateable, he should have shown some compassion even if he thought you were fibbing. Some men seem so angry at women. I find it scary 😨. Why do you all think that is? It's more than a lack of faith, it's like road rage or dating rage. We have all been hurt at this point. I found you not to long ago and just have been so thrilled to watch you talk about your life and may I say the clothes you find and the trinkets for your home are just so beautiful sometimes they take my breath away! I wish our thrift store was half as nice as the ones around your area. You look great. Luv the denim. I think the fruit looks very Italian. On occasion can use the pretty red crystal piece in the kitchen. You have many pops of red. The duster and your flower in hair and makeup are just gorgeous. I luv Billie’s voice too. I lost my husband of 40 years just 2 months ago. He had treatment for cancer several years ago and was ding great. Then it came back and didn't go so well. Our grown children and I did everything we could to make him comfortable. It's still such a shock to me! I am mourning and feeling so so overwhelmed! Your videos have always been so uplifting to m!e, but when I watched the last one and this one it really hit home! I thought well maybe there is hope that someday I will be happy again. Not only have I been misjudged but I have misjudged others. Its a humbling experience. I personally feel if you where a hundred and fifty years old you would pull off wearing anything. You look so amazing in your new finds and I wish I could do the same. But my middle section is now bigger than my big boobs and I'm not feeling to pretty. Trying to loose my mid section is like chiseling the rock of Gibraltar with a toothpick! LOL!! I just love Desi. He reminds me of my Triscuit who died last year in Nov. I still miss him so much. You asked about us ever being misjudged by someone. Yes, I had a friend who thought something was dishonest about myself and my husband which was not true. My friend broke off all contact with me and accused us of falsehoods. I was so torn up and lost sleep over this. I finally wrote her a really nice letter stating that I thought she knew how honest we were and that she would loose a really good loyal friend in me for no reason. She never renewed our friendship and I finally had to let go of the hurt. I learned that true friendship does really give you the benefit of the doubt and in the end, all we can do is be our best selves. Some will treasure that while others will throw it away. Susan, I enjoy your talks and value your spirit so much. I am also 66 and Wish we lived in the same town so that you and I could have our coffee and share fashion shows !! And as I type this, my third comment!, I did coach that friend in a quandary so many years ago. And I told her (since she felt sad to have to send a second marriage - in the first the husband was totally unfaithful) that don't carry the baggage of the past. The future is OPEN and we are free to find it. So great that you used the term 'free'! We have to be free from guilt, scripts, fears, conventions, old ideas that keep us encumbered.
