I'd say it's probably one of the easier to identify countries for most people. Not gonna disagree that much of CNN's coverage is propaganda, but not all propaganda is false or ethically wrong. Propaganda can be utilized for both just and unjust causes. Ukrainians have been remarkably successful in utilizing propaganda to boost morale and garner support. I don't think NATO should intervene with direct military action (e.g. the no-fly zone Ukraine has asked for), but Ukrainians are the victims and are fully justified in using propaganda in their fight for freedom.

Notice how technical he is with the details? I was in the same state when I was 18 after my dad passed. It was so shocking that you can't even absorb what's going on. I was thinking that same thing about how he seemed almost detached at first. He very much looked to me like he was in a state of shock and actively processing what had happened. The trauma is very raw. I hope this interview ultimately helps him process his grief in the healthiest way possible (which is still abysmal) and doesn't feel like further traumatization or exploitation. It's so hard to know, as a viewer, if the victims their interviewing felt at all pressured to talk or if it's something they actively wanted to do. The exception being all of the remarkable Ukranian women who have actively sought out journalists for the opportunity to scream at the cameras. They're driven by their justified rage, and nobody will tell them what to do.

@Mr Santoro It's interesting. As I was reading through the different comments, I came across yours, and it got me thinking: when I see people like you commenting, people who support Vladimir Putin's indiscriminate bombings of innocent men, women, and especially children, I imagine this is what it would have been like if there had been social media back during Adolf Hitler's time -- disgusting people like you would be vehemently supporting Hitler and defending him, screaming "FAKE NEWS!" when reports about death camps and genocide would arise, talking about how righteous and heroic Hitler is and how those men, women, and even children being mercilessly massacred by his armies are not victims and instead -- as you put it -- "...get what they deserve." Yeah, I imagine it would have been exactly like this.

@@annan7728 I am not sure President Zelensky is at fault in any if this. It was Vladimir Putin who made the decision to attack the Ukraine. Why the Russians are targeting civilians is beyond my comprehension. If Russians want to do it strategically, why not go for military bases or something like that? The slaughter of innocent people makes NO SENSE. Charging Putin with war crimes is definitely in order here.
