This is my new setup using a 25" bicycle wheel, and 16 Ceramic (C8) Magnets. 1-7/8" x 7/8" x 3/8". I have my multi coil circuit from my previous video running the wheel, and it runs very well.

@usedbandage9 - The secondary coil is a single 1 wire coil and is hooked up just like it is in the circuit. You can use a Bifilar and just tie the 2 outer windings together, then the 2 inner windings together...putting the Bifilar in parallel, and act as a single coil.

@fathershand - I blieve because I didn't have my O'scope set up correctly to capture the Back EMF Spikes is the reason I missed them. I still tinker with the Bedini Circuit but don't see a practical use for it unless you want to invest a lot of money into it. These Projects that I do, (Bedini and my VW Bug) are more therapy for me than anything. I started working on the Bedini after losing my Daughter to Cancer. (Many sleepless nights). The VW is a continuation of that therapy. Dave

Hey Dave, I am really enjoying your vids keep them coming. I have been trying to get a circuit working but have had nothing but troubles thus far. Hopefully soon though. Anyway appreciate all your help, thanks. -Stiks

@msearson1 - That would probably be a good idea for the next video. This Circuit was a little more difficult to tune. I mainly watched the O'Scope Trigger Signal as I increased resistance. Too much resistance and the waveform would deform and cause multiple pulses. I also kept an eye on my Amperage pull. Too many amps is not good, too little and the circuit would not charge well. I'll work on putting together a video of it. Thanks again! Dave

@min2oly Thanks. The wheel is a standard metal wheel. I haven't noticed any attraction or intereation from the magnets with the wheel or frame so far. I do have another aluminum alloy wheel that I tried to set up last week, but the wheel was so far out of "True" that it developed a terrible wobble at full speed. I also worry about the frame, but it hasn't really affected the circuit that I've been able to tell. Even on the O'Scope. I should be ready for official testing in a few weeks. Dave

@fathershand - Definately the bicycle wheel, using the ceramic magnets. It runs much smoother and with less effort. The one think I didnt mention in the videos is the Back EMF...thats the true secret to charging. I was never able to capture the spikes on my O'scope till now. I need to make another video :) Dave

@Americankettler Thanks for taking the time to reply! Why are you just now able to show the back EMF? Perhaps, it was a learning curve for your Oscope. Also, I think that you have moved on from this topic to other things. Can you say why? Do you think that this device can help us to get to the place where we can generate enough power to perhaps run some appliances? Thanks for your insights!

@Americankettler Thats what I assumed, and my bedini worked amazing on the first time. It spun extremely fast, but I didnt check the charging.

Hey Good job. I looking at your schamtic you main coil did you wind one on top of the other or one in front one in the back?Is the larger coil wire all connected to the triger or do they cross?Im sorry I'm new

Hello!. Nice video. I want to build one of those machines to have fun, but I wonder if you put an amperimeter to measure the current in the battery that is being charged. It would be fun to see if it can put some charge in a very discharged battery because that battery will show to the circuit a smaller voltage that will increases the charging current. Is your circuit imposing restrictions to that peak current? Thanks for your answers and for uploading your videos!

Very nice! impressive results you are getting there. I like that you have noticed advancing the coil does something. I hate to add 2c here, but, is that frame attracting the magnets at all? is that rim aluminum? it shouldn't matter for initial testing...

Dave, I hope you see this and respond. I know this video is old, but it is good to learn fro\m. You do good work and have a good way of relating it. My question is this: Which makes a better charging circuit, the razor wheel or the bicycle wheel? Why? Thanks and have a great day!

if I use iron nails and one side has the nail point but if I would use the flat end would that effect the bedini circuit?

Does the secondary coil have a single-wire wrap? The schematic at the start shows only 2 wires going to it. If its bifalr, how would I hook it up?
