So nice to see someone talk about quality brushes! I have brushes in all price ranges but nothing compares to my luxury brushes! They just apply my makeup so much better! Thank you for not throwing all morphe brushes at us!!! I like them but feel like other you tubers push them hard because they are so inexpensive.

Excellent video! I use a lot of the same brushes you mentioned. Another Wayne Goss brush that I absolutely love is the 2015 Holiday Brush. It is expensive but so divine and worth it. I use it as my finishing brush to make sure edges (blush, bronzer) are all blended with no harsh lines. The brush is magic.

I will definitely look for some of those great brushes. I am wanting better eye shadow and gel liner brushes. One brush can be so different that another when it comes the desired look. I am experimenting with powder foundations and I find those fluffy flat end brushes do work well.

I love this video. Finally a high quality brush review. I could not agree more with you about good brushes being the core of any makeup application. I too have the hakuhodo j531(love it), chikuhodo GSN 02 brush, koyudo (you need to try this Japanese brand) and Wayne Goss face brushes. I love Japanese based brushes. When I first started collecting. I invested into Mac brushes but I find some of them over time to become scratchy. I still keep them because they are not the worst to use but they cannot compete with my Japanese based brushes. Thanks for sharing. I thoroughly enjoyed this video😉

Great video, Brianna. I'm glad that you didn't have the Mac 217 that everyone seems to love, as a favorite. I can't stand it. It's so scratchy. I also invested in some quality brushes. I have 15 of Wayne's brushes. I think I'm going to save some money and invest in some Hakuhodo brushes. It's expensive for me ordering those brushes from the States here to Sweden. Absolutely love this video! What is the best way to clean brushes?! I feel like there are so many videos out there on how to clean but if you're using more high end brushes I feel like a lot of ways people tell you to clean them actually damage them! +Marguerite Chappas Honestly I clean my brushes alot and I use the Beauty Blender solid cleanser. I wash them pretty much every other time I use them so they dont get so dirty and these higher end type of brushes clean so easily and so well thats its pretty easy ;) Thats just what I do ;) XOXO

THANK YOU FOR THIS! the post 10 months ago was EVERYTHING, and im needing a few good brushes for the best airbrush look with my Armani liquid & bb and it is overwhelming trying to find an honest opinion. QUESTION: Another KZbinr was discussing Chanel's cream bronzer which is pretty thick, and she said a synthetic brush was needed because it has "more bounce." In your video 10 months ago, I know there was a brush you loved for buffing thick creams...wondering if it applies to the Chanel or if you would agree on the synthetic?

+Amy Ernst I love the #3 for setting my concealer with powder. It is the perfect size, and I love how tapered it is, so you can be very precise with powder application. I like the #2, but it's a little too big. I prefer to use it for all over powder application or for highlight. The #6 is also a favourite. It's a great eyeshadow brush. It's very versatile. You can use it for blending, crease work, as well as laying down shadow.

+Amy Ernst #13 is a great brush, I have that one too! I use it for blush & bronzer but it can also be used with foundation. #2 is PERFECT for under eye setting. Perfect! His eye brushes I have are #'s 4, 6, 18, 19. #18 is an excellent lid brush! The other 3 are blending brushes but I think #19 can be used for blending under eye concealer too, I just haven't tried it yet. I want to eventually get all of his brushes. They're great.
