This is getting me hyped for my stereo upgrades in the Mach 1. Having Focal PS165V1 in the doors, Kenwood DMX957XR head unit, back up camera, JL XD10005v2 amp and JL HO110-W6v3 as my sub. They happen a week from today.

This is the kind of setup that i personally like. I don’t understand people who have subs that blow all the other music out and make it chaotic. I like something that is well balanced with really good low end but everything else being clear. Whenever I do the audio setup on my car I plan on putting a sub in but having a knob near the head unit that can let me have the bass really loud and punchy or nice clean and warm without overpowering everything else

Update: literally just installed the maestro kit paired with a Kenwood DMX7706S and the sound quality without tuning and without changing the door and rear deck speakers yet is crazy. Definitely think about Jacob.

Dope bro!! Yup the sound system is the first thing I did in my car... I got a 13 GT with a premium system... And I left the head unit in there and added the d-class Alpine 1000w by 1 amp and one 13 1/2 inch JL audio W7 and a custom JL audio box... And it pounded so hard I had to buy a $250 Dynamat kit and dynamited the entire trunk...

@@jacobtaylor4618 for speakers I highly recommend Rockford Fosgate. I have had Punch and Power and I actually liked the Punch better because of the metal tweeters in the prime and the ear shattering ping. They both have very, very nice bass though

Well, JL Audio is total garbage. After blowing the 12 inch that I had I will never go cheap again. If you don't spend at least $500 on the subwoofer, not including the box, you are buying absolute dog shit, period. I have 3 Alpines and will never but anything else. All I've done is added to what I had after the JL. Even my other speakers are Alpine. Kicker is ok, MTX isn't bad, but comp only speakers are worth your money.

I have a JL 10 inch sub and a JL Amp in my 2011 mustang it’s super good, It hits good and it’s not overwhelming. Best purchase for my car. Keep up the videos man i love em’ you’re doing a great job. 🙌🏼

I would honestly change the head unit on the car before anything I have a 05 with the shaker 1000 and that’s the first thing I did and it made a huge difference

Got the stocker system in my '13 Premium - love music too, but I prefer the windows down. We have almost identical exhaust (I just dont have the quad tips). Really watched this for the revs (soo familiar, LOL) and another look at those Diode Dynamic side marker lights! 😎

The LC2i basically creates a powered RCA signal to communicate the audio from a factory head unit to an aftermarket amplifier without having to replace the factory head unit. : )

So you have a 2 channel amp. Your rear speakers are amplified or all 4 are wired into the hipass and your subs are on the lowpass side of the 1st channel. Pretty simple really.

Like me, you like clean sound. Thunderous bass that rattles the music and distorts the highs...not cool. My 2014 came with the premium system with touchscreen. I dont think I will touch it...it sounds great as is. 1st car/truck I have ever owned that I didnt have to consider the stereo. I did an update to the maps to find that Clarion made the system and they didnt do a bad job. I knew I couldn't convince you to move to shitty PA...but keep the videos rolling. Love the car...😎

All that money you put into the speakers, amps, line out converter and a soundstage and you don’t want an aftermarket head unit.. that’s definitely odd and have never heard that before from a single person. Seriously why not get an aftermarket head unit do you realize how much better your music would sound? I mean it sounds bad ass now but it will take that ugly cheap looking factory box unit out and be replaced with a crisp lcd face with so many more options I mean hell what’s another $400 you’ve already got $26637362 in it already.. I own a 2015 mustang and with JL Audio throughout the whole vehicle I changed my head unit out for a pioneer AVH-5500NEX it was night and day. Compliment those nice components bro get you an aftermarket head unit for gods sake!! 🤦‍♂️🙄🤷‍♂️🤬
