My Nail Polish Collection | A-ENGLAND (May 2022)

I definitely wanna get more A England's from destashes. They are one of my favourite spoonie-friendly polishes I reach for when I'm low on energy and need the best formula. I am eyeing up so many of these lol: Tristam, Briarwood (omg!), New Romantic (need!), Mrs De Winter... really superb polishes!

Ohhhhh lovely! I love A England. I need more of her polishes but I want all of them so I tend to ignore the brand in general lol! Tristam is such a classic. My favorites are Saint George and Fotheringhay Castle.

I love a England polishes. I have 30+ bottles. The cat who gave Tristam her name died recently.😢 Flaming June is absolutely gorgeous! And the two blues from the same collection are perfection as well. Very strong glowy colors!

I’m surprised you only have 9 with it being a UK brand! A-England was one of the first Indie brands in my collection. I have a lot. I think my favorite is Puck A Fairy, in fact, that whole collection was lovely. I never locked up Crown of Thistles and I still regret that decision. So pretty! 😊

I didn’t buy many originally as they’re a bit more expensive, and now I have so many polishes I have dupes for most of them. Rushes off to check out Puck a Fairy….

Looking at the still of New Romantic, I think the bottle is actually tingled blue. You see in the corners next to the color? It's usually somewhat clear there, but this one is distinctly blue. I think that's why it looks so blue in the bottle and purple when it come out. I looked for pictures of the bottle online and some of them look fine and others look blue, I think they got a strange batch of bottles and instead of wasting it, they just put the purple polish in it since it was close enough in color. Also wanted to say congrats! I saw your comment got read by Cristine (Simply) in her recent livestream! You must have been so excited when she took your suggestion! 🥰

I adore A England!!! I have about 30-35 bottles. From those in the video the only one I don't have is Crown of Thistles (I have a polish from OPI that's similar, but I don't recall the name of it). We have a stockist here in Brazil and people love this brand. Me included!!! The reposted my manicure twice, I was wearing Tristam. I felt so happy!!!!

Thank you for showing your A-Englands. How does the linear holo formula compare to Holo Taco?

The formula is as good, the finish on the flaming linear holos is a bit softer than Holo Taco xx

@@TheNailPolishHound I agree, but A England has often a very special glow in their polishes. I don’t know how to describe it better… maybe you can, Amanda!

The flaming holo has a lot of colour in it but the linear effect is not as clearly defined as Holo Taco - the edges of the different colours blur into each other more. Hope that makes sense?

well, they have been a bit racist, at least in the past, so they are a bit controversial. I tend to buy from destash rather than direct personally, but absolutely don't judge anyone wearing them. I wear them myself - superb formulas!
