Agreed, well worth having a browse of the CJA 1972 to see what a collection of random, obscure little tweaks it is. Section 32 changes the maximum fine for "use of premises in breach of a closing order" from £20 to £100. Section 34 is about constables taking alcoholics to treatment centres (so possibly more relevant to this video!) But the idea that a fundamental right to go where you like is enshrined in Section 33 is pretty funny....

Have you seen a recent trend amongst auditors whereby they use scanners to listen in on the radios of security? This begs the question a) what the hell has that got to do with pinac and b) surely that’s an offence under the regulatory powers act? Intercepting communications for which you are not the intended recipient. They film themselves doing it … I even saw one doing it right under the nose of the police, while trying to ‘educate’ them and the security about sia badges as usual.

@@user-cg3dg5ne6u Action can be taken, yes, but it would be a case of reporting it to OFCOM rather than the police because, in my understanding, is that OFCOM is the lead enforcing body for these matters. It may be worth reporting it to the police anyway to see what they say, but I expect they would ask you to report it to OFCOM instead. I also expect that OFCOM will not have the resources to deal with it - unfortunately.

This channel is strongly critical of auditors and auditing. It's not strictly an 'anti-auditor' channel because I do try to be balanced and fair and stick to the law and facts, which means that sometimes I will defend the auditor's conduct - but that doesn't happen often.

I'm not an auditor. Auditing Yorkshire published the video himself, and it shows him staggering to a police van and getting in it while drunk in the street. Tell me how he could sue me for libel (not slander) for simply drawing a reasonable conclusion from his own content? Even if he is not clinically alcoholic, it amounts to fair comment, does it not? His own content contains other videos in which he is shown drinking and the worse for wear. At best, he could sue me for libel and win nominal damages of one pound.
