Not to take ANYTHING away from Kajol's beautiful gutwreching performance - she definitely earned all the Best Actress Awards she won that year... But many people don't know Kajol actually suffered a miscarriage the first time she got pregnant after her marriage in 1999 and subsequent career break in 2001. An extremely traumatic event for anyone, Kajol she was said to be incredibly devastated and was inconsolable for several months and stopped socializing too. 😪😪😪 You can hear that pain in her voice when she screams for her dead baby to "come back" to her in this film 😭😭😭 Side note: I've watched this film at least 5 times over the last 14 years, including at the cinema when it was released in 2010, but I have not cried anywhere near as much as I did watching it with these two angels -???? - but also, I am on a comedown so it could be that

But even so, all of the performances cited above (and I would add Fan, Anjaam, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Raees, Dear Zindagi, even Zero) proved that SRK has shown versatility with excellence in numerous roles over his career.
