I received formal art education from the University of Pittsburgh and received my BA in Studio Arts in 2012. So many favorite parks. My actual favorite place is a National Monument. Muir Woods. John Muir was responsible for bringing Albert Bierstadt out west to do plein air painting to show those eastern city folk color representations of the natural beauty of the west. It was John Muirs passion for conservation and Albert Bierstadts paintings that were the catalysts for there to even be a National Park system. We have painted a lot of the same places, Tetons, Arcadia, Arches, Mt. Rainier, etc. I will not, however, be painting any golf courses anytime soon. 😎

Your level of realism is extraordinary stoof, I'm with you on the mt. parks vs Yellowstone, good for animals but I'll take the tetons. Heading to the oregon coast in a couple of weeks. 😊

Grand Tetons is my favourite too, and I really love your paintings of it really amazing, would love to buy one of them one day. Amazing thing is I found you channel while looking up some details for when I last went over there (from Australia) and apparently you have only been there couple of days before lol (think it was 2019 June/July maybe).

You are a celeb Steph. You ARE a modern American Artist. You are the leading female artist in landscape and realism and you have published books. You should be raking in the money. But you try to teach us without pay, how to paint like you. Teaching is not a high paying job, but you certainly have all the cred needed to be tenured at the University of your choice. You really are a philanthropist.
