I started following you about two months ago. This upload reminded me why.. YOU KNOW YOUR HAIR!!! I’m three years natural . Your videos gave me confidence in my old self. I got lazy and started going to the shop getting silk presses done and realized my hair had stopped growing. Well it was growing but the heat from the silk press plus the constant need for purple hair was devastating to my ends and it was breaking. I had to make a change. So I’m currently three or four months completely heat free. My goal is six months. (Baby steps) I’m 46 and have just realized I love my hair curly. I was the straight hair queen!! It’s always been healthy but now without the heat it’s sooo strong!!! I hardly lose hair during wash day. Thank you so much for providing QUALITY hair care uploads. I watch a few others but I listen to you. Also your hair type reminds me of my own. An added bonus!

I'm currently relaxed but I've been wanting to go natural for years,so I can try some pastels and vibrant colors that I can't experience with relaxed hair with out mayor damage or risking my hair to fall out. I didn't want the big chop so I tried to transition but didn't know how to style it plus didn't like the look so ended up relaxing again. But seeing your video gave me confidence to do it. I believe my hair would be close to your curl pattern.

When i was in middle school i had THICK WAVY hair and i kept it in the side ponytail with the curls coming out the pony lol. All the girls i went to school with had perms tho. This was before natural hair was a movement and i didnt even know what "natural" hair was! In high school i got a perm. Now i am 30 years old ....i tried transitioning once and i got aggravated and got a perm...now i am trying again to transition and i really do hope that i can do it this time! Wish me luck!
