Sameeee girl. I'm mixed and i had a few crushes on white boys in highschool, (mom thought it was a good idea to put me in an all white school) they always swerved me for Jenna or Brooke lol. Now those same white boys are in my dms, but I prefer chocolate now. :P

I love your curly hair and I’m actually going through that same phase now. However, I am considering cutting my hair and start this new journey as you suggested. Less straightening out my hair and more on the rocking my natural curl out. I’m definitely applying more leave in conditioner and styling my hair to knot less braids. I think the puberty thing is real cuz i distinctly remember having no curls at all as a kid (like 4c coils) and now my hair is like 4a.
