Eunjung took the time to learn actually learn about Daniel's culture in Africa being of Beninese descent and other African cultures.

It's sad that in 2018/2019 people still refer to Africa as a country. It literally isn't hard to check on a mobile device or laptop whatever gadget you may have and search up Africa on the world map and find that it's a continent with 54 countries within it's borders. It literally takes 5 seconds. Korean national Sam Okyere who is of Ghanaian descent literally had a slight issue about this on a Korean program he was on last year because singer Kangnam wasn't aware of what was in Africa, he only went by what he heard about the continent in media about it being a poor country natives living in villages, huts etc basically all the stereotypes about Africa. Sam had to correct him and he told Kangnam while there are many places in Africa that are not very well off there also a lot to appreciate about the continent, lots of greenery, beautiful scenery, entertainment and nightlife. Sam offered and actually took Kangnam to Ghana his home country and showed him what it is lioke there, because he didn't want to just tell him what Ghana had to offer, he actually paid for tickets and took Kangnam as well as a whole Korean camera crew and a few other Korean celebs and went to Ghana. After the experience, Kangnam went back to Korea with a whole new outlook about what it is truly like in Africa and that it is not all true the negative stuff he saw or heard in the media.

@mk I really don't think it matters what it is, it doesn't make it any better. I was raised by open-minded people, each coming from close-minded cultures that 'seek self-preservation' and think marrying outside your culture is betrayal. They got married regardless of their different cultural backgrounds, my grandparents didn't make a huge fuss, and both my parents and their parents don't care what ethnicity my husband will have. Their love and energy transcends culture, and even through the screen. Didn't even realise I was having so much fun watching this couple until I started to laugh out loud. We've seen so many different couples through the years of My Neighbour, Charles. From exhausted wives, to neglectful husbands, to thoughtful boyfriends, to entitled wives. Eunjung is such a great example of a loving, thoughtful, humorous partner who has completely embraced Daniel's identity and culture. And for Daniel to come halfway across the world, to a place where he knows he will be judged based on his ethnicity and skin colour, not knowing the language, not knowing what to expect, with only the love of his wife and child in his heart.. what an amazing man. I wish them all the best! And Michael... the calmest baby I've seen.

It'd be very nice if there are more people like his wife. She's so full of energy, very open-minded, and accepting of other cultures. They're both blessed to have each other! I bet Michael will grow up to be a great man ❤️❤️❤️

They are such a beautiful couple, I really can see the love they have and how happy they are and I hope God sustains them and keeps them just like that. So precious.

Omg, I'm a French speaker so I was surprised when they spoke in French😮Eunjung reminds me my own mother. Confident, not scared of differents people, differents cultures, don't judge quickly for their skins color. Even my Japanese grandfather who was from the old generation and was distant with foreigners treated me like a normal person. I feel comfortable with being Danish but culturally, I'm more Japanese and African from my dad.

i think this is my favorite couple among the ones I've seen so far in this show, they're so young and full of energy, and you can tell they lead a harmonious and loving household. I hope they get even more students and can keep on with their passion as years go by. Also, their baby is the cutest!

Am really happy for this couple, they seem like their living their best lives, it's comical and even a little sad that people still regard Africa as a country, there are so many different cultures in one African country alone that approaching a whole continent like it's a country takes away so much of it's identity, and despite it all this two found love and happiness, it's really a beautiful thing to see
