I feel like you should update your name from dividend invest to either ETF investing or growth investing , because VFV focus is not really the dividends Canadian dividend investing would be more VDY/ Schd/ Xei etc

How is your TFSA contribution limit is 112k . Assuming you are in Canada from 2013 onwards, it would be 82k only. Just curious to know.
@CanadianDividendInvesting17 күн бұрын
Good question, TFSA limit increases as stocks go up. I’m up about 30% in my TFSA therefore the limit increases

Great video and appreciate the transparency. Are you based in Ontario/BC? If so, I imagine your plan to expand into Real Estate would force you to liquidate a good portion of your Stocks? I'm in a very similar spot so just curious your thoughts on that
@CanadianDividendInvesting16 күн бұрын
No problem man! Yes I'm in Ontario. That is the plan, to liquidate most of my investments. What is your plan?
@nbafankek120615 күн бұрын
@@CanadianDividendInvesting Same here man, though it will be tough especially considering the time and sacrifice put in to get to where it is today haha (and ofc don't want to sell at the wrong time and miss another year of gains like 2024). Will definitely be following your journey, really like this content

@@nbafankek1206 I really appreciate that man, even if we liquidate some investments we'll be able to bring the account back! And building some equity in a home/real estate will be nice too.
