I bought an EV, model 3. Perfect commuter car for me (San Diego). Love how it is always charged when I go to work, it is crazy fast, handles like it is on rails, but I wouldn’t take it on a road trip. Don’t like the idea of having to wait for it to charge. I’m sure battery charging tech will improve, will just take time. Love your truck by the way!

I'm not against the EV at all. I'll feel better though when we have the infrastructure to make it realistic completely as an alternative to gas. That said, I dont understand why they can't just put chargers in each wheel and recycle the energy to recharge the battery making it unnecessary to stop and recharge. I bet you don't miss going to the gas station! I k ow I sire wouldn't miss it! I hope you keep that EV for years to come and that it co tiniest to work for yoy- sincerely. I hate being so dependent on big oil.

I had a Model 3 also. The problem is that any other vehicle just does not come close to the tech in it, from the cameras, autopilot, the sound system, etc... I always compare everything else to it and everything else is crap in comparison.

Congratz on the truck! Black is tough to keep clean though (Mines black 😔) I strongly suggest a touch less car wash... youll have to keep us updated on how it preforms (my 1500 is starting to have tranny issues... so keep your eyes on that.... idk how the 10sp is gonna do tho) It looks spiffy though!

I had a 2016 Silverado 2500hd that was black. It was a great truck to have. I was often out wiping off spots here/there with a bottle of spray wax.

Some places can install them so that they automatically come in and out when you park.

I haven't really used it like a truck. Mainly just taking my kids to soccer and running to the grocery store etc. We might have a real Winter this year and need to use the 4x4. I like it, but it's not like my 2500HDs.

I dont use Apple Play I have an Android. Occasionally the Android Auto won't want to auto connect but other than the Inhavent had any issues with any programs.

My wife just got one, and we do like it. EV..😂😂...we do have toys. Jet skies and motorcycles. I still do racing on road courses at age 62. That means trailers. With EV you will do a few thousands feet and have to charge..no thank you.
