Love the SCORP mini, it's super lightweight, and the price is good on Indiegogo. The multi-function knob really helps a lot when I shoot outdoors. Great travel companion and it is worth buying

Nice review. I could not get the scorp mini to zoom in and out using Clear Image Zoom. I am using the Sony A7-IV with the FE28-60mm lens. Appreciate if you could do an instruction video on it. Thanks

Also, the useful feature that’s missing from the Scorp Mini is the built-in LED light found in the Crane M2S. I found out that this is an extremely useful feature that has come in handy filming in low light. One more potentially useful add would be an integrated wireless mic similar to what the DJI Pocket 2 had with their combo pack.

Great video as usual. Do you think this gimbal would work with a GoPro 9, Ulanzi G9-4 cage, Ulanzi U-Bright light, GoPro mic adapter and duo 4 mic combonation all mounted on a snap mounts set up? I also have a Hero 7 silver and Snap Mounts phone mount also using the Snap Mounts system and it would be nice to have that interchangability. Thanks again for all of the great content.

I really like your videos and pleasant nature when describing things. I bought a 'different' gimbal that you once reviewed for my Go Pro 10, and enjoy it just fine. You may have also helped me decide to finally get a Go Pro 10 in the first place. Are you guys in Canada? In other videos (outside) the surroundings sort of resemble here, in Canada. Plus your good natured, easy-going and polite way of speaking, definitely seems Canadian!

If you're doing a long-exposure motion timelapse do you need to sync it up to the phone to avoid the motion of the gimbal messing with the sharpness of the long exposures?

Recently found your channel and enjoying so many of the videos…all well done! Lack of Camera bag aside, the Scorp mini doesn’t look like it would be as easy to pack/store as the M2S, so for run and gun style work a bit more awkward?

Yes, I would agree with that point.

Nice Review!! Does it work for Fujifilm Mirrorless Cameras?

It can generally support them as long as you use a relatively small lens.
A kick-starter from an established company!??? There is not much difference between this and the "C" version other than the screen on the handle that is more like the Pro, but the "C" does hold more weight. The "C" come with a box, but no carrying case as well. Unless for a specific shot in a controlled shoot, I find gimbals on a hike to be just a little to much extra to carry. Congratulation on them reaching out to you.

Yeah, I was surprised by the Kick Starter part too. Feiyu-Tech is a reputable enough company!

Is there a gimbal yet that can connect with the GoPro's 9and 10 yet? I bought a Crane 2 last year and even though I never figured out how to calibrated balance it, I also found out I couldn't hook my Hero 9 to it other than just affixing it to the gimbal. So now, I have a Crane brand new in the box other than the 20 minutes I've had it out of the box trying to calibrate it. 😩

How does the Moza Mini P still perform compared to these gimbals?
@Gemini_Connect2 жыл бұрын
It's still a solid gimbal choice. Personally, I prefer the Feiyu-Tech for ergonomics and the Zhiyun for smoother app connectivity. But the Moza can fold in half, which the rest of these gimbals can't do.

What do you think about DJI Ronin SC gimbal?
@Gemini_Connect2 жыл бұрын
I think it looks pretty decent, but I have personally always preferred Zhiyun gimbals, up until this Scorp Mini came out. IMO the Zhiyuns are easy to use, reliably connect to phones, and look good.

Your videos are always informative and good. Can I ask you a question ? Between Sony Zv-1 and Hero 10 which one has a good video quality ?
@Gemini_Connect2 жыл бұрын
Tough question. They both can shoot in 4K, but the GoPro can do 5K, so it's slightly higher resolution. However, the zoom range on the GoPro is a lot less than the Sony, so you get more flexibility with Sony.
@tritanyarai19652 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the response.... Actually, I have Nikon D5600 with me and the video quality at 1080p is far better than the 4K of Hero 10. Just because of the heavy telephoto lens I can't do vlogging with my DSLR. That's why I am searching for a good option to Hero10.

Do video files take a huge storage space from your computer? If so, how do you store them?
@Gemini_Connect2 жыл бұрын
Yes, they can. We save space by shooting these talking head videos in 1080p, and trying to be minimal with our shots when shooting in 4K. Every year during Prime Day we buy a 12 or 14TB hard drives and transfer the video files there when we're done making the final videos.
