SCORP-Mini is super compact and lightweight, it is really easy to take for traveling. I especially like the multi-function knob, it allows me to control movement from the gimbal to tilt up and down as well as pan left to right manually, love it!

I noticed the camera was jerking around a bit when the focus pull motor was going back and forth. Did you notice this as well because I'm having second thoughts about that feature now!

Interesting. Is this compatible with a Panasonic GH5 ? (GH4 and GH5s are listed in the kickstarter compatibility file), but nobody can apparently confirm for a GH5...

I like the light Mini but don't need the payload of the C. Would get both version for a similar price currently. What would you recommend buying? Is there any great feature that the Mini lacks? Or is the Mini the better lightweight choice?

I would say the mini is the better lightweight option tbh. It packs pretty much the same features as the C, but more importantly, it has the digital screen on the handle, whereas the C doesn't. So you can essentially do more with the Gimbal itself without having the need for the App.

Great video! Was looking for a video comparing it to the Scorp C. Though apart from the touch screen what really is the difference between the two? I really liked the A&B buttons on the Scorp C so I am leaning towards that one.

I think the screen would be the main difference tbh - I also prefer the A/B buttons, it comes in handy!

Thank you for ypur video. I found very useful to myself! I have a a7c with sigma 28-70 lens, planning to get my first ever light-weight-gimbal for leisure video shooting. I am choosing from the Zhiyun m2s and this FeiyuTech Scorp Mini. One of my biggest concern is that those gimbal won't work perfectly with a zoom lens (even without zooming) and too hard to balance. But after watching your review, it seems that the Feiyu one works just fine with your Tamron 28-200 lens, it should also works as fine as my 28-70. Have you ever face any difficulties when using it with zoom lens? All the fuctions works perfectly for you? Thank you so mcuh

Hi there! Great to you hear you have the same camera and lens as me! 1 thing I would say is that it does take some time to balance the camera on the Feiyu Mini - I've not tried the Zhiyun M2S so I can't say if it will be easier with that, but when you've balanced it, you can't use the zoom, because it will start unbalancing and could cause problems. But I think that would be the case for most Gimbals tbh. There isn't any specific gimbal I could say 100% works great with zooming either - so if you want to use without zooming whilst its balanced, then this is a good choice!

Hello, great vid. I have the same camera setup. How'd you find the balance with the A7C and Tamron 28-200? Any issues with the gimbal balance when zooming in and out?

Hello! I try not to zoom when the camera is on the gimbal, because it does slightly affect the balance of the tilt, but without setting any zoom, I found it OK. It wasn't the easiest, because it took me around 10mins to get it properly balanced, but once I did, it worked fine :)

In my case I would buy this for use with a gopro and a galaxy phone. I dont yet have a full frame camera but will probably get one soon. I need to be able to change out the three cameras quickly and easily on the move. How easy is this? I dont want to have to go through a balancing/initialising process each time. Thank you

Balancing isn't required much for a GoPro or Phone - it was very stable because they are very light, but either way, it just required an additional 2mins to balance it straight, but it didn't need to be perfect. For a DSLR camera, thats where it will really require more in-depth balancing, which takes me around 10 mins sometimes. However, switching between a phone and go pro, I would say there would need to be a tiny adjustment each time. Sorry!

Hello, I was wondering if I could buy it off of you, if possible, only reason why I am going to such lengths is because I am a little worried about the third party website that FeiyuTech is selling their products from. The customers, including me, seem to be getting very slow responses as it pertains to feedback about our order progress, tracking, shipping, delivery, etc...And I know it'll take months to ship/deliver. so if its a possibility, I would love to see if I could buy yours from you? Hello, i have a question for people using this scorp mini, is it ''normal'' that the horizontal axe keep moving slowly a little bit after ''center'' it or in general moving it a bit? Everytime i center it or moving it in a direction it keep moving slowly to the side ! (It's my firdt gimbale so i am pretty new to these)

So this gimbal has AI tracking also for vlogs? Sorry this is my first gimbal and I will be using my Samsung galaxy s22 ultra for my main camera. Looking to record my grandchildren and would like auto tracking when I put the gimbal down and record me playing with them . No I don't think has AI Tracking - I think you need to get something for your phone like the Hohem iSteady V2. That will be perfect for tracking and recording your grandkids.

I ordered the product back in September and never got the product. I have contacted the company many times and all I got was a fictitious tracking web site. This looks like a fraud to me and I would like the presenter and KZbin to remove this harmful advertisement so other people would not fall into this.
