We use a product called stainless steel at work. It smells amazing but u have to make sure u rub it in well or it is kind of greasy, it makes everything shine beautifully.

I was wondering what you would do if you became unable to climb stairs. Glad you can get a chair lift to get up and down the stairs. Glenda remain as active as you can. I didn't after I retired and now i'm paying the price. Had been in wheelchair since 2014. And I hate it. But I try to make the best of the situation. Have a good day

Actually that is not how chairlifts works, they are actually installed on the opposite side of the stair rail. The track is installed on the stairs itself, so the track is installed over the stairs and attached to the stairs it doesn't have anything to do with the railing. What you will need is a outlet for the power supply

We have stainless and I'm not a fan. It shows all the fingerprints, and be careful moving the fridge magnets around. Ours has all scratches on the lower half from all the kids' play magnets. I should have known better from when we had a store and restaurant, and I had to clean all the stainless. Glenda, if there is a restaurant supply near you, they may have stainless spray. I can't remember the name at the moment. I remember it was like a foamy spray. That's my four cents. 😘 Maybe it was Weimans as you said.

Mix half water and half white vinegar. Best cleaner for stainless steel. Actually it is my cleaner for sinks and removes hairspray from everything.

Very pretty apartment! I just use glass cleaner on my stainless steel. Way cheaper than the special stuff. I'm also living on SS. A bistro set might work for your dining area, but I like the fold down tables, too. Happy for you!

I remember years ago, my laundromat used to clean and polish their stainless machines with WD-40! Don't spray the refrig directly, spray on a cloth and then clean the refrig. Be careful not to get it on the floor as it is very slippery!! You need to manage your finances so you can stay in this apt. for a long time! It has everything you could need for now and for the future(all the handicap possibilities, if needed in the future)! Apt. came out great! How dirty have your floors gotten, you are only one person! I know you know what is needed to make yourself happy! Have a blessed day!

Your apartment is really nice and I envy your minimalism. I could live that way, because I don't like clutter, but my husband... That's another story. If that is plank flooring, be careful using a regular mop. We have almost the identical flooring and we were told water setting on the floor can buckle the flooring. We were told to use something like the Swiffer mop.

Great apartment. Not sure if you shop at Walmart but you can get a 10lb bag of chicken quarters usually frozen but Tyson and around $6.00. You can make some chicken soup with the legs if your not a fan but it's cheap and could last a long time.

It is funny you talked about the mop -- I said the same thing yesterday, that I wanted a regular old mop and not a Swiffer. I think they are good for a once over at night maybe, but for a good ole fashion floor scrub you need that cotton mop. I have same refrigerator and after I clean it I use plain ole windex to make it shine, no sense in buying other products when windex works, saves money cause it’s multipurpose. A washer/dryer is a must, it’s so much trouble at our age to lug clothes to the laundry mat! Happy Birthday to Issa & Tammy, my birthday was the 13th. Another You Tuber I watch got the cutest table and 2 chairs from amazon for $100. My space is limited also so I try to find furniture with drawers. I use Weidmans. However coconut oil works better than anything..put on and buff off

Your apt is so pretty and your family beautiful. I want pictures out like you have but it reminds me of how lonely I am since my son moved to Iowa. Trying to re-learn how to live w this body quitting on me. Lifted/nursed people 27 yrs. I shouldn’t have but so it is, now following you for tips on how to make it. Apts and food are TO HIGH. Hard to just live. Your so kind! Keep on, your lookin great.

You are doing so well that you can handle those stairs on a regular basis- I wouldn't be able to handle bringing in groceries & having to run up & down those stairs.

The stairs are a challenge. I set the bags two steps up, then step onto that step and repeat

Hi Glenda what a nice place to come home to for you. It's bright, airy lots of nice plants you have done well with it. Most important is that you are happy with it and doing well. I know you love to do crafting projects do you like to read and if so what kind of books? Do you do any knitting or crochet also?
