I'm a 70 year old widower, and I been using flaky biscuit dough for dumplings for 50-some years. If you eat a lot of ramen soups, try adding a couple of dollups of peanut butter to the boiling water along with the bouillon packet. It tastes just like noodles in sesame sauce.

A German thing to make with biscuits. Cook 1-1 1/2 lb ground beef crumbly with a diced onion and drain. Add 2-3 TBS of oregano and a small head of shredded cabbage and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes to let the cabbage cook a little. Drain any water. Roll biscuits and fill with meat mixture. Fold biscuit over meat mixture sealing in. Place on greased baking tray. After all of the groutburgers have been processed brush tops with melted butter and bake at 350° F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Delicious I don't live in Germany but I have German blood and a German friend taught my Mom this recipe.

Over 30 years ago, I attended a Feliz Navidad themed Christmas party and someone brought sopapillas made with canned biscuit dough that were pretty darned good! You just flatten the biscuit with your hands, and then drop it into some hot oil, about an inch deep, in a skillet... lightly brown both sides and then dust with either powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. Thanks for reminding me that it’s high time I made some again!😊 P. S. I almost forgot that you then drizzle them with honey!!!

At 5:20, this takes me back to 9th grade, 1974. She used a 2-Liter bottle cap to punch out the holes. Our Home Economics teacher taught us this doughnut hack, and it's shown up many times since then. Just turned 63 last month. Maybe I need to make a couple of cans this coming Sunday for our Bible study. Yummy.

These recipes are a major time saver and taste great. It feels lighter on the stomach which I like also. It's amazing how things can be right in front of your eyes but until someone shows you then it's appreciated. Thanku
