I recently got an F90 M5. On a motorway run over 300miles i averaged 34.5mpg which gave me a tank range over 500miles which I thought was really good for this car. I know not particularly exciting but perhaps useful for anyone considering one.

In my experience with BMW, oil leakage is a common occurrence. Mercedes E63 and Audi RS6 are better than BMW M5 in terms of engine repair quality. I don't mean that RS6 and E63 are very good, just comparing these three cars.

I took my F90 M5 to Holland a couple of weeks ago and got 35mpg (that’s 500 miles to a tank 😳). They are amazing cars and fast doesn’t describe how quick they are for such a big heavy car. If you’re going to drive one car everyday and want to go fast or go 400 miles in a day this is the car to have 👍
