That screen can be polished Calvin. Plastic polish and a wheel on the drill will remove that horrible coating that scratches up easily and make the screen look like new. Bang a screen protector on afterwards to just finish it off 👍

Just a bit of advice my friend- make sure your cars are well out of the way when the grass is getting cut - one little stone flung out and it’s a chip/dent in one of your motors - very easily done 👍

Just use glass polish (not glass cleaner) to remove the anti-glare/pro-scratch coating on the iDrive screen.

Meguires plast X, polish the idrive screen with that, its the anti glare coating that's scratched and this stuff get the rest off, can then buy a protector for the screen if you wish

Cal, I could send you a little polish to fix that screen. The uv coating often goes wrong and we’ve experienced this plenty times being in valeting trade since 1996. We have m5 as well and it looked like this. A little polish and 5 minutes if your time and you’ll be sorted. Let me know if we can send you some down.

You can clean off these scratches with a paper napkin and toothpaste. Rub the toothpaste on a dry surface, and the magic will work.

I feel your pain on the M5 , I bought a 2013 M5 in 2020,same exterior colour , but merrino interior , gorgeous 21" Veemans , was a beast but never out of the garage and cost me a fortune (seems had prev been crashed after pulling out bent rads and then having it winched off the drive after it dropped transmission fluid all over my new £16K driveway lol ! But after I spent a couple of K on paint correction , it looked and drove AMAZING ! What a weapon !Think I paid around £22k , wanted to upload a pic so you can see it but don't see if I can . I haven't grown up (at 52 !) , now drive a 576BHP F Pace SVR - do love a big V8 lol ! Keep up the great work pal, love your content !

Calvin, great video! Lovely M5, do you remember your review on a white M5 years ago? Before the Binca days? I ended up buying that M5 from a dealer up North, I only had it for a week and the rod bearings went on me! The dealer was really good SJcars Wigan, he took the broken M5 and replaced it with a mint M5 with 24k on it just like the one you have in this video! Imagine that blue M5 is the one I ended up with as a replacement??? Haha 😂 has it ever had a plate W30SEY?

It’s probably a fantastic car! However I have and never would buy a Cat car. I’d be paranoid and coming to trade in would be a nightmare. It’s only really worth what someone wants to pay. Meaning someone who wants that car but can’t really afford it. Great content though!

Calvin, I’ve a 62 plate W212 E63 AMG. It’s had a new engine fitted by Mercedes under warranty (done 2k miles on it) Fitted new diff, new clutch plates, new brakes all round, new rear air suspension. Car is clean, black on black, pan roof, heated seats, rear view camera. Looking to part ex for an SVR. Can you help?

Mate saying you want to work harder is wild. Please take care of yourself and do it responsibly I don’t want to see you having a heart attack 5 years from now, it’s not worth it for you or your lovely family. If anything, work smarter not harder learn to give the reins over to others who know the business (I know, it’s very hard) and they’ll surprise you. Sit them all down and ask if there’s anyone who’s been thinking about doing anything more or differently, and ask them to write any ideas they have down on paper and put them in a box. If you need more staff as a result take on more staff, but I promise productivity will go up. I’m not saying don’t watch over things of course, do that, I’m saying don’t k1ll yourself over tasks that someone in the business will willingly take on and be happy doing, you never know maybe do better than you at them, if not at least to your standards. Take care mate, you’re a good person and I don’t want to see you go the way I’ve seen others go.

These sorts of cars are nice to look at. Not nice to live with even if you were rich it just don't make sense to spend on fuel and maintenance on these big V8 cars. You would rather have a supercar which you can justify use on weekends and special occasions. These V8 cars in this current climate are ticking time bombs once they hit the used market. Most of the people who buy them brand new put costs through business and receive service plans so maintenance doesn't cost any thing for first 3 years at least.

Ive had my BMW E38 6 years its mint like realy mint peppermint green pearl white inside lots off wood . its well known in manchester ,Every 6 months im getting rid off it when it does my head in ,Then i fix the problem put the key in start it sit there I love it .i take it out 4 am once every 3 months and i leather it it does it a world off good ,its like sitting in a flat 3 months then going for a 5 mile run cleans your whole body out .And ive only spent £4, 700 on it in 6 years . Old is Gold .

My partner has the same car but 2024. I also find the gearshifts a bit harsh so hard to drive smoothly Even in Comfort mode. Also the brakes are very fierce. My 2024 Golf R is far easier to drive but the build quality is nowhere near as good as the BM.

@howardgregory3888 👍 I agree with the brakes as I came from a golf gti performance mk7.5 too . Gear shifts in my m135i is jerky pulling off and around town. And when put your foot down even in comfort mode is rather aggressive changes( kick back in seat type). And another tiny point is a bit wondering steering compared to the gti. But far better quality inside

Sounds random, but get some baby wipes/nail polish remover or something along those lines, give the screen a good scrub! The scratches are quite possibly just the anti glare coating, I’ve just done it on my a4 and now looks as good as new 👍🏻
