47yo here. FL golfer. #1 How to read greens on different grass. #2 How to effectively use bounce with wedges around the green. #3 Swing path as it relates to getting "turned over" with the driver. Natural butter fade if my swing thought is, turn it over. Duck hook every time if I combine that thought with hit from the inside.

One thing that I almost never see on any other teaching channel is a slice with an in-to-out club path. Almost every "fix your slice" video talks about an over the top move, but you can still absolutely slice your shot while still being in-to-out. I think chipping on city/muni courses, where the ground isn't well kept, and so it's a lot harder - and traditional chips that play the bounce on softer ground just skip over the ground and skull the ball across the green. Course management is another thing that's always good to teach, especially when not to choose driver off the tee.

Grant, this is awesome man! I’ve been a huge fan of your teaching style and followed of your various channels for a long time and it’s always been a dream of mine to get a lesson from you. I’m a 15-20 handicapper about to graduate college, I usually shoot mid 90s but have had a few great rounds breaking 90 and a much more select few under 85… I’ve only been playing for a couple of years but I’ve been really into golf and wanting to get better so I’d love nothing more than to be considered to be on the channel man! First of all, I am excited for you Grant. I know teaching is a passion for you and now you have the chance to share improvement techniques and strategies with the world. As for me, I am 72 and had to give up golf over 20 years ago (long and irrelevant story). I started trying to play again three years ago but frankly I only play once or twice a year even though I could play virtually daily after retiring 12 years ago. I have some mobility challenges and my swing speed is but a fraction of what it was when I hung up the clubs. I’m still playing with some Callaway clubs I bought back in the mid 90’s which are way behind in technology and with stiff shafts from when I could take a good poke at the ball. My best round back in the day was a 78 and that is the only time I ever broke 80. My typical scores were mid 80’s to low 90’s with most in the high 80’s. Back then, I probably played two rounds a week when it was warm enough. In the last few years I haven’t broken 100 but those rounds were all on tough resort courses including the TPC in Scottsdale, TPC Florida, Pinehurst #2, and a couple semi-nice but a little ragged public courses in South Padre Island, Texas. I need help (and yes I know playing more than one weekend a year would help immensely). I live in Texas and my playing buddies live in Indianapolis and Detroit so time is limited…..LOL. Regardless, I think I have seen every video you ever made that are still available….even those when you were with Good Good. I wish you great success with your new channel and all other pursuits. I’ll be watching and hitting the range when weather is good. God Bless.

Great video Grant! My father also has worked in the golf industry for over 50 years, ironically at the Tuckers Point Club in Bermuda. I’d love to see videos on basics.
