My New Craft Corner with IKEA Pegboard and KALLAX Storage Desk

Watch my small craft area get a makeover with some storage ideas! The small space was the challenge since I had to be smart about planning this while making it functional and easy to access my craft supplies. I'm showing an easy way to hack an IKEA KALLAX book shelf to make a counter height craft table and use SKÅDIS Pegboards to organize frequently used craft supplies . It’s still a work in progress when it comes to organizing my craft supplies but I’m pleased with how it turned out so far!

This is a great hack! I am looking to fit so much in a small space, maybe smaller than yours. But this gives such a great start plus the “clean” look or decluttering look. Taking notes to get on board with the materials and make this my first full week in the New Year project. The sticky gels or gripped is an item that I ca use in other areas. Thank you for this .

I’ve been racking my brain trying to improve my craft space. I have that table top (different legs that aren’t customizable) and one of those peg boards. I really like how you’ve got the Kallax shelving on the bottom with drawers and cabinet doors!! Of course!! IKEA has those products to go with the Kallax and you took advantage. Too bad my craft table got taken over by my computer and monitor (a month after I got it) because I am working from home because of Covid. I can’t wait til it’s time to move the crafting back to that table and trying some of your hacks. FYI I am using an IKEA hack as monitor risers for my laptop and monitor.... it’s IKEA again (but I’ve had these for years).

This gave me the best idea for my small workstation. I felt so proud to complete it all on my own. Then as I was organizing everything in the drawers and cubes realized my big oopsie with putting the drawers at the top. Ugh. What a good laugh and "unique" design choice for me.

flip your kallax so little legs are under your linmon. the gap will give you an extra storage space and you can adjust your legs
