I have two of those radios and one is the Max version with EdgeTX on it. I just love the radio and the new AG01 gimbals are just awesome .. but a tad on the expensive side but well worth the upgrade.

I got the red/black tx16s max last year totally worth the money. Also currently testing out the betafpv 2.4 elrs module with my digital rekon 35 so range should be great :)

No regrets getting a Tx16s as my first radio. The Radiomaster 2s 5.0Ah Li-Ion battery powers it better than the dual 18650s.

How do I copy a model to another empty model for back-up so I can go back after screwing up the programing I cant repair?

You mentioned removing the SG switch. How can you do that while keeping the SH momentary switch?

It might come down to actually breaking something inside. I did it with the Jumper when I first got it. I don't necessarily need the SH switch to work, I just want to rest my finger on it.

Hey Ed, I have a Flysky thx9 radio and would like to know if I can use it on bind qnd fly receivers or do I have to grade up to the radio master.

Hi, it really just depends what receiver you're talking about. Flysky will have no trouble binding to a Flysky receiver, but a FrSky receiver or even a Crossfire receiver is a different story. This Radiomaster TX16S (updated Mark II edition ) will bind to almost any 2.4GHz receiver, but always look in the tech specs of your radio to make sure it supports your receiver type.

@@EdRickerVlogs Thanks Ed, my puppies ate my instructions for my Flysky radio thx9. Iam not sure what tech specific are for receiver and didn’t want to buy a new radio because I just bought a DJI mini 2 combo. From what i am understanding the Radio master is a good radio qnd binds with any 2.4 receivers. I have been out of the hobby for sometime and need to catch up.

Old Ricker with the radio 📻 review, should have compared my mambo and tango 2 too, the sand in my gimbals from flying the stables, sd card dying In my tango 2 while out flying and losing all of my models. 🤦‍♂️Maybe Edge TX will support my tbs radios soon 🤔

Just Acquired a RM TX16S and need lofts of help Where are the KZbin Videos for Learning this Radio with EDGE TX From A to Z? Every thing on U-Tubby is so Halter Skelter What's need is a complete Primer with an explanation of all the Different Pages in the Radio Chaptalized (Not With YT Pictures) Explaining things like Widgets Modes Timer set up (Difference Between Throttle, Throttle Start & Throttle Percent % All chaptalized in LISTS written out so things are easy to find. i.e. How to copy one model to another.

I'm not sure if such a tutorial exists yet, but EdgeTX is very similar to OpenTX as they both appear on the TX16S. You could follow an OpenTX tutorial for the TX16S or Jumper T16 for the majority of setup and of the radio. Check out a Joshua Bardwell TX16S setup video with OpenTX for a complete setup.
